Works great
Its plug and play. Plug it in and set it for your time zone. With in a few seconds it will auto sets the time and date. Best part is that you have full control of the brightness of the led readout. From very bright to off. I set mine to the dimmest level to see it at night with out bothering my sleep. The battery backup is there for maintaining the time zone setting for the auto time set and the alarm setting. I do no use the alarm to know how loud it is. Battey life maybe shorter then it should if it does not have a plastic pull tab that you have to pull to connect it and keep it from draining from the date it was manufactured to when you get it.

Awesome!
I just plugged it in, and my husband and I love it. Bold and large time comes on without having to be set. You also get the date and temperature proudly displayed. We wanted something beachy to go with our white coastal bedroom, so the white with the blue display works so well!

Clock Time Does Not Synchronize with NIST
The Amazon description says “The clock will sets itself to the correct time once plug in”. However, I noticed the clock immediately displayed a current time once plugged in, though it was actually 30 seconds behind my iphone and ipad time (which I’ve confirmed matches time.gov). The Instructions manual provided with the clock says “The time is set during production”. So, this clock’s time is set at the factory and does not synchronize with NIST time, in case anyone cares. I do appreciate the date and temperature display, though I suspect (but have not confirmed with another thermometer) that the clock’s displayed temperature is about one degree high.

Love my clock.
I’ve only used this clock for 2 nights so hopefully it performs as easy to use as it has so far. I was very impressed when I first plugged it in it was already set with the correct time, date and temperature! The dial to change the brightness is handy to have and simple to change.

Good design.
It's great. It's perfect for a small room, and the numbers are easy to read. Best of all it's functionable and simple, no annoying flashing or features that are a distraction.

Easy setup and fantastic display quality
Totally love this clock. The atomic clock sets itself instantly (other clocks I have take a few minutes). Easy timezone setup and it is good to go. Absolutely love the infinitely adjustable rotary dial for the display brightness. Also love the crisp, clear LED display. Love it :)

It is simple to use
It works just as it said it would. It's simple and the ability to dim the numbers is a winner!

Met my expectations.
Large, well lit numbers making it good for Seniors. I got it for by my TV as the cable box no longer has time on it. FYI, don't sit it on top of cable box as the temp will go up to 90. 😟. I like it a lot
