Last year I purchased a yellow biking and climbing vest from GoxRunx and loved it! Now fast forward to the limited business and social distancing era and my cousin wanted to borrow to my bright yellow vest since he would be directing traffic during a busy curbside pickup business. I did not want my yellow version to become soiled and stained with blue fertilizer and soil, so my solution was to order this bring full size vest in Orange! This fabric is just as high quality and breathable as my first style but this vest covers more of the chest and back. The visibility is very bright both in day and dusk and I made sure to order larger than needed to fit over spring jackets.

I wanted to love this vest, but found it was too long for my torso and the material was not as lightweight and breatheable a mesh (with small holes) as I had hoped. I am 5’3” 120lbs, and have found it challenging to find a small size that is actually small enough to fit. Sizing a small for a man is very different than for a woman. This would be a good vest for a taller person.

I bought this as I began walking in my neighborhood. It is super light weight with many reflective strips so I believe I am easy to see by motorists in the early morning. The first time I wore it I had a little trouble with the Velcro fasteners. After the first time it is easy. A suggestion is to stand in front of a mirror the first time you use the vest. The little pocket on the inside is good. It can easy hold keys, I.d., or maybe a smart phone.

This vest is perfect for when I walk my dog at night or early morning! I tried another vest but it was so short it only went halfway down my torso. This is the perfect length! The velcro allows a lot of room for adjustment, especially when winter approaches and I need to put it over a winter coat!

You can see this vest at a great distance. Adjustable enough to wear with or without a coat.

I rate this vest as a 5 for running, but I'm giving it a 4 because I purchased it primarily for cycling. In my opinion, it is taller than ideal for cycling. At 5' 6", the bottom of the size small hits my hips. The velcro adjustment at the waist is the thickest and stiffest part of the garment, so you feel it on the front and side of your hips while seated pedaling. It would be great for cycling if it were a few inches shorter, or if they find a way to make the waist adjustment with more flexible material.

The vest was a little too large, but it is okay. The material is thicker than I expected. Hence, it is a little hot because air does not pass through it. It does the job!

Adding to the headline... Very reflective, full panels, not a crop top. Fit's great. I'm a 5' 9" male at 210 lbs. Bought the XXL and could have easily gotten by with the XL. Even wearing a sweatshirt over my shirt. The pocket is fine for Kleenex so ya don't have to blow snot rockets, or a key or two but the phone bouncing on ma junk didn't do me much for me.Doesn't ride up on shoulders when jogging and has an adjustable fit at the waist. I love the vest.
