I bought this picnic bag as a wedding anniversary present for my parents' and they were over the moon!Really nicely made from thick, waterproof canvas, it has a carrying handle, as well as cushioned, adjustable shoulder straps to use as a rucksack.There are different compartments (all with sturdy zips): one holds all the cutlery and accessories and there's an insulated compartment at the back for your food. This keeps things cold for hours (even longer with ice packs).The food compartment isn't hugely large considering it's for 4 people, but it's sufficient to get a fair bit in there comfortably.A small compartment at the front is useful for putting a mobile or car keys in etc and also (with the deluxe and super-deluxe versions) this small compartment contains loops so the picnic blanket can be securely attached.I ordered the super-deluxe version, which also includes a large, good quality stainless steel flask, 4 stainless steel mugs, 2 plastic food containers and a lovely, matching waterproof-backed blanket (measuring just under 5').There are also two separate insulated pouches (one on each side of the bag) for the flask, bottles of water/wine etc.Moving on to the compartment holding all the other included accessories (there are LOADS) - 4 melamine, decent-sized plates, 4 wine glasses, a linen tablecloth and 4 linen napkins. There's a 4-place cutlery set made from good quality stainless steel and colour-matched plastic of forks, knives and spoons.There's also a small bamboo chopping board, salt and pepper shaker, a corkscrew, butter knife and bottle stopper, along with a handy bag for putting the dirty plates etc in after use to keep them separate until they can be washed.All of the plates, linen etc match the colour of the bag. (I ordered the maroon one, but there's also a dark navy and green available). The bags are available in 2-place options too, but price-wise, I think it's better value to pay the extra for the 4-place.It's quite heavy, but you can always take out any extra bits you're not using that particular day. It's also impossible (well, I found it impossible) to fit the glasses inside the mugs, like it shows on the product picture, but that's neither here nor there as far as I'm concerned because this is such a lovely picnic set, which makes an absolutely fantastic gift. Or even as a treat for yourself...It's expensive compared to a lot of other picnic bags available, but this is more than reflected in the good workmanship and quality of the bag and all of the accessories. It certainly puts the picnic set I have to shame and I love this one so much, I'm thinking of buying one for myself. Very impressed!

One thing. The pic shows the mugs in the pack with the glasses in the mugs. When you get the bag the mugs are in the main pack. When you stow them as in the pic things are very tight...

Not the cheapest set online but I absolutely love it. I wanted a set which had mugs AND glasses for both hot and cold drinks, plus a rug and this fits the bill perfectly. I couldn’t get the colour I wanted but I took a different colour rather than chose a different product. I’ve used it a lot already and happy to recommend

Great bag fro picnic. Very good quality bag and contents. It has all the accessories you need for a picnic. It is a bit pricey. It is worth it though as it looks very durable.
