The Yak Pack: Comics & Phonics: Book 2: Learn to read decodable digraph words (The Yak Pack Comics Complete Series) Paperback – August 3, 2017

As a homeschool mom with a struggling reader we loved these! He was so motivated because he loved the fun comic stories and started to want to read them by himself!Each lesson is simple but continues to build reading skills throughout the book. At the end there is a certificate of completion which makes it a great reward! The only bad thing is that there are only 4 Phonics books so we will eventually get through them all!

Unexpectedly funny and engaging

I’m a second grade teacher and I am using these with my students who struggle with decoding words. These include decodable reading passages as well as sight words, comprehension questions, and phonological awareness skills. Pairs great with Heggerty and Letterland lessons. They truly grab the students attention.

I bought a set of 6 to use with kids in small groups. They were very effective and fun to read. Kids liked the comic style dialogue.

This book has been great for my ESOL students in grades 3-5. They love the stories and they are learning to read in English!

I have been looking for a while for material that could help my kids learning to read. This book is amazing. Works great for my kids to learn and making it fun to learn.

The books themselves are good. However, try to order them from another source. We were sent the incorrect book 4 times. They kept sending book 1 despite us ordering 3 and 4.
