We never use pre ground spices. It is nice to have a variety of pepper corns on hand. Mix to taste. Recommend.

I got these because my son was addicted to green peppercorn sauce for his steak. Have crushed them up and used it in cooking as well as soups. No complaints so far.

My research indicated that green peppercorns are the un-toasted version of black peppercorns, but with a milder flavor and heat. Not sure that that's true! I've crushed some of these with mortar and pestle and incorporated them into a couple dry-cured meat products and a homemade BBQ rub. LOTS of fresh pepper flavor, but more heat than I was expecting. All good, though. I like 'em a lot but recommend that you sample them first before incorporating an equivalent amount of these in a recipe that calls for black pepper.

Peppercorns are fresh and tasty. A large supply so you shouldn't get those is you don't have grand peppercorn plans! Btw, they are a great addition to your black peppercorn grinder
