Pose Triathlon
This is a great book to challenge precepts about running, biking, and swimming. There is a lot of philosophy to read through in the beginning, but the author keeps it interesting with a lot of quotes, etc. Author makes the case for the Pose method, especially for running, to aid in form and keep you injury free. Some of the exercises are a little out there, but they are good for results. Transitioning to pose running is difficult, so pace yourself. You may have to mix it up or make Pose part of your running workout instead of the whole thing. It's hard to transition "cold turkey." However, the book is a good read, with a good pace, and plenty of inspiration. Enjoyable by the serious athelete and the amateur looking for better fitness.

An Excellent Book!
This book has been immensely helpful to me as I've worked recently to refine my running technique (as I hope to do soon with my cycling and swimming technique, too). In adopting the POSE method, which is explained very accessibly here, I have seen great results in little time. To name one such result, pain in my knees from nagging tendinitis has dissipated and nearly vanished in only a few weeks of practicing the technique diligently. I also feel as though I truly no longer need orthotics, which I've worn for a number of years now, for everyday walking and running. In general, I heartily recommend this book and Dr. Romanov's techniques. Happy triathlon-ing!

Superficial
The Pose Method is great. It's a simple concept that can drastically develop your perception to exercise. If you haven't read a book about the Pose Method, this is a good start. But if you have a good idea of how to apply the Pose Method in your training, don't waste your time. The author repeats his theories over and over as it to say that no one else understands human movement as well as he does. In my opinion, even though he might be right, it's a piece of information that won't help you swim-bike-run faster. Train hard, improve your technique, but please don't believe a scientist will be the one to get you to run your best.Good luck,GuS

The New Old School
I used to race bikes in my teens and I regularly ran for several years before giving up due to injury. However I discovered the 'Pose method' and the 'vibram five fingers' shoe range while browsing sports injuries and I was intrigued. Brilliant training guide but a bit of a slog to read. The first 23 chapters describe phyisological and scientific arguments before getting into the actual physical training. But the book is structured like a university science course - you cannot take short cuts to get results. It takes some will power to read but it's well worth it. I might suggest to the authors to a) use more bullet points, b) provide powerpoint slides, c) provide cheat-sheets in pdf format for easy reference, d) scrap the posetech videos online and re-record them in a studio without the wind blowing into the microphone! Other than that this is still a remarkable work of passion and labour. Bravo Professor!

The Pose really works!
I used to injure myself with my running technique. Years of attempting the Pose has helped me to run injury free. I am now trying to swim and bike without injury as well and feel confident that Dr. Romanov's techniques will help me to do so, once I master them. The book is clearly written and provides the mantras necessary to remind oneself of how to run, bike, and swim in the Pose manner.

Extremely helpful book
This book is incredibly detailed. It has drills to break down the essential movements of swimming, running and cycling. The chapters are easy to navigate. Only thing is the author waxes a little bit lyrical about the role of gravity in sports. I felt he got the point across and didn't need to include such a large amount of info on the topic. Otherwise a great book.

Pose Method Review
Dr. Romanov is the first person I have come across that can articulate the vital role of using gravity to one's advantage in human movement, and he outlines a very easy to understand method for obtaining optimal form and movement along with specific exercises to help you get there. Truly the only complete model of running out there -- his research and insight spawned the entire "barefoot/minimalist running movement" but many people have no understanding of what this is really all about. Read it and you too can become an expert -- great book!

POSE Method of Triathlon Technique
I recommend this book to every triathlete, new to expert. Has a great philosophical introduction before you even get into the technique. Dr. Romanov builds a mental image of what to expect, then blends this with the POSE technique. If you are looking for a good place to start with your training or improve your outcomes, I would start right here.
