Fantastic screen protector.
I would like to inform that my review is for the screen protector that fits an iPad 7th gen. I had ordered this one initially and didn't realize until it had arrived my mistake. I contacted the company and explained my situation, I asked if I could exchange the wrong size for the one I really needed. They told me I didn't need to send the one I had received back and that they would send the correct sized one soon. The correspondence was quick and I had the correct sized screen protector within a couple of days of informing them.As for the screen protector (size is the only difference between this and the one I actually use) it's fantastic. It has a nice tooth for drawing or writing. Writing feels easier as opposed to a slick surface like the glass. It does wear down the Apple Pencil tip a bit over time, so replacement tips will be needed in the future. Also, the clarity compared to the normal glass surface is different. There is a sort of "rainbow grain", like when you sit in front of an old TV, that on occasion when looking at a lighter background it can be distracting. I feel it's a fair trade for minimal glare and texture sensory. (:

Works great and colors are still vibrant
I watch movies on my iPad as well as draw with it, so I was concerned that this film would undermine the colors but it does not at all! And it's an absolute pleasure to draw on! So much more precision and better feel. I was able to install it without a problem, but yes, I do have one very tiny bubble I can't seem to smooth out, but it's really tiny and not bothersome. I highly recommend this to anyone who draws on their iPad - I think you will really like it.

Finally a solution for my iPad
I have been looking for a good note-taking solution for years - and I have tried a lot of things. Scanning notes with my phone, the Moleskin pen, Rocket Books, etc.....while some of that was a good product, what I really wanted was something that could work with my iPad. I just have a regular, cheap iPad, not a pro model. I had tried taking notes before, but the glass was just too slick.I was strongly considering dishing out $500+ for a reMarkable 2, but I thought I would try the $12 solution first. I am so glad I did. This has answered everything I am looking for. It adds enough friction and traction with the screen to be much more paperlike. Listen, you'll never get 100% the feel of paper, but this gets you pretty close. It will somewhat dull the image on the screen, but not enough where it affects your overall enjoyment of your iPad.My only complaint was that the installation stickers for the back of the iPad as shown in the instructional video were not included. I used Scotch tape instead (masking, painter's tape would work as well). Do the installation in the bathroom or another low hair/dust room. No bubbles, no hairs, no dust. The screen went on perfectly (and I am usually not very good at putting them on).Overall, I would strongly recommend it. I was very skeptical this would be a solution, especially at this price point, but it fully earns a 5-star review from me.

Meh?
I usually don’t leave reviews for things, however I felt that this would be a review that I would have liked to have seen when searching for a screen protector. This is the first “matte” or “paper-like” screen protector that I have tried out. I’ve had my iPad for about 3 years now and decided to try one to see what all the hype is about. For the paper-like aspect of it, it’s great. Makes writing or drawing or basically anything with an Apple Pencil on the iPad feel much better than just stylus to glass. Pressure sensitivity seemed to be basically the same. Feels weird to use your fingers on it as there is a noticeably different feel to it, but not a deal breaker. I also have had zero issues with finger prints. If that’s all you’re looking for, then look no further. 5/5 stars.I’m not a huge fan of matte screen protectors, as the clarity is usually just not there. I’ve never had a need for a matte screen and I don’t appreciate the grainy, cloudy film that comes with a matte screen. For this specific product, I would rate it a 2.5/5 on clarity. I experience both the grain and the cloudiness. It's almost like a rainbow grain on white or light colored back grounds. Not the best, but I’ve seen worse. In my opinion, if I used my iPad strictly for art, I would rather be writing on glass. But, I also use my iPad for taking notes in my classes, and writing with this screen protector feels 10 times better than just writing on glass. My handwriting is notably better, so reading back over notes will be easier. Though, I do find that the poor clarity makes it uncomfortable on the eyes for reading.***disclaimer!!! I have never had a matte screen protector before, so I don’t have a clue what the typical clarity is like. I have seen some pretty bad ones, but I don’t have any real experience with it. I am also OCD and screen clarity is very important to me. So keep all of that in mind!***Finally, the application. At the beginning, everything was going super smooth. The package came with everything I could need— an alcohol wipe, dust remover sticker, screen positioning stickers, and of course the screen protector itself. I did not receive a squeegee or a card of some sort to press out bubbles, but I’m not sure if it was supposed to come with one. This was not a problem, I just used a credit card. Screen application went great, then came the part to peel off the blue protective film. I’m not sure if anyone else had this problem, but I ended up peeling off the whole thing (aka both the blue film and the screen protector itself). In doing this, all of the dust that static-clinged to the blue film, somehow got all over the screen protector. At that point, I just slapped the thing on my iPad and called it a day.**If you made it this far into the review, then you are a trooper.**In conclusion, would I recommend this to someone? Totally depends on what they want a screen protector for. For the paper-like feel? 100% winner. If clarity is important? Not the best, but I don’t really have anything to compare to, so I’m unsure. Easy application? Pretty easy, apart from the final step of peeling off the blue protective film. Unsure if that was user-error, but still, it was pretty frustrating. So I now have a screen protector that feels great to write on, but has poor clarity, and tons of bubbles and dust that are impossible to remove.Overall, I'll rate it a 4/5. Writing/drawing is so much better and I could overlook the grain (even though the OCD in me hates it). I will probably contact the seller to see if I can receive another one. If not, then I will most likely purchase another one. I wanted to avoid spending a lot of money testing out a variety of screen protectors, however if I'm going to be picky, then that's what I gotta do.
