I really liked this spear, until I ended up sending to the bottom of the ocean. I was on a boat and the dive was cancelled for the day, but I still had the spear with me. A bunch of spadefish came up to the surface, so I thought I'd take a stab at one. I slung the spear, and accidentally let go of the band and dropped it into the ocean. It sunk out of sight instantly. When using this, make sure you have a lanyard or something similar attached to the band and your wrist, otherwise you may lose it. I ordered a second one, and that one now has a lanyard attached to it.

Overall this spear is nice but the 3 prong would only screw on about 1 round so it was barely attached. I have 2 other yellow fiberglass spears just like this and the 3 prongs I use on them wouldn’t work either. Turns out the end of the spear where it gets larger to encompass the shaft is slightly larger than the opening on the head. Took a few minutes with my grinder to slowly get it down to size. Now I can get 5 rounds threaded in and it’s stable.

Tips fall off very easily as they only screw on one turn basically. Not sure why the design is like this. May be worth putting lock tight on and throwing it away after prongs no longer good

Cheaply made product that looked great out of the ‘box’, but quickly became wobbly where it screws together in the middle. No amount of tightening could fix it. It’s too bad, it was otherwise a nice product.

Love it. More than my moneys worth. Works great looks great and priced great.

Excellent quality, very happy with this spear. Everyone I dive with is envious of its light weight and durability.
