Nice and lightweight and ventilated.
Some caps can make your head overheat, this one is ventilated which helps to keep your head cool. Another boon is the cord, it's been a bit breezy over the last few days and the cord helps to keep it from blowing off your head.

Very useful
OK I don’t look very debonair with this on my napper, but it does keep the sun off my my sparsely covered dome, ears and face. It is also very light and ventilated to reduce the temperature inside. It can be rolled up and stuffed in a bag or pocket then give it a shake and it goes back to its original shape.

It's a cotton hat that can fold into your pocket
The hat is fine. It is adjustable via a strap around the headband on the outside. It folds down and fits in your pocket. It has a broadish brim but my wife tells me it looks better when the sides are buttoned up. (more my problem than the hat's, I suspect). The aeration in the crown is quite effective, especially when there is a slight breeze on a hot day. However, the retaining string is piece of dark coloured vinyl and looks more like an offcut from a donkey jacket shoulder pad.. I feel the need to keep it inside the crown rather than expose it to ridicule. I only keep it for if I am wearing the hat in a gale.. A coloured piece of string would be more appropriate. I have some old boot laces and once I can get my wife to get out her sewing box, the vinyl will go...

It’s a great hat!
This hat was worn all day every day doing the West Highland Way for five days of high temperatures and full sun and one day of drizzle. On the hot days my husband soaked the hat in water to help keep him cool. When he wasn’t using walking poles he wore the hat Australian style with one side poppered up to the crown to stop the poles in his backpack banging against the brim. On his return, the slightly smelly, sweaty hat was bunged in the washing machine and came out looking like new, ready for the next challenge. A great purchase.

Value for money good products
Love the hat will be fantastic for the summer (if it gets here) . one problem the way it was packaged it was put in to a small bag it is all misshapen I am going to have to iron out the brim and try to shape it to what it looks like in the pictures. It whould have been better flat with a cardboard inside the head part .I know you have to worry about packing. Any way product is first class 👌
