Good but dim Led @ 9V
Decent switch, functions exactly as I need. Continuity tester really helped me figure it out .But I’d like the led brighter …. Operating using a 9volt battery, the led isn't bright enough ( it's ok; but dim). Is there a way I can get to the resistor for modification? Perhaps I can replace or parallel it??

Switch seems to work but very poor design
Switch comes with a direction sheet that spells out the function of each color wire from the connector. Sounds great at first. However the connector is not keyed so can be plugged in upside down. When the connector is upside down, the wire descriptions are completely wrong. So as long as you make sure you’ve wrung out the wiring with a continuity tester and then mark the connector, the switch seems to work fine. Haven’t tested the waterproof characteristics yet.

Defective Switch
I purchased this switch for a custom wiring project switching 12v at low current (built in LED, plus three LEDs external to the switch with current limiting resistors, as well as a 3v contact closure for a mic mute switch) Only one of the poles reliably breaks connection rendering this button pretty much useless for my needs. Super awesome since I already drilled the panel and soldered the button into the circuit 😒 Hopefully I can get a functional replacement for this item from the seller, or if not, another DPDT illuminated latching button of the same diameter. The issue is internal to the switch when it's supposed to break the NO contact. I know I didn't overload the limits of t he switch as my supply voltage is only 12v at 200mA.

Nice switch
Needed DPDT switch so that the LED can be operated separately from the switch that can't have power on it. This switch works perfectly.Note the wires can be reversed so note when installing the socket to the switch that the white wires line up to the "C" pins.
