I had the pleasure of living in Japan for a number of years. Upon returning to the United States I missed many things about my home in Japan. One of which was the Noren (暖簾) I had on most of my doorways. So when I found this one I was pretty happy. The price was more than fair and the material was just the right thickness. The design choices tasteful, the only thing negative about it is it arrived folded and the creases from the folds have yet to fall out. I have steamed it, and pressed it... but they're still there! Quite pronounced too. I am sure that they will fall out eventually. And over-all I am very happy with my new noren. :D

This is a great noren curtain and definitely worth the price. It's not see-through at all, and it looks lovely from our living room. We have it hung from the very tippy top of the wall (basically level with the ceiling) and it's still long enough to cover everything if we're walking around in our underwear behind it. So I can walk from the shower to the bedroom in a towel if guests are over. The bottom hangs about at my mid-thigh, and I'm about 5' so on a taller person it would cover even more.

Love it. Solved my problem. I like leaving the door open but the metal screen door closed. So I can get a breeze and my cats can watch the outside world. During the day you can't see looking in from the outside. But at night I have a light that automatically turns on when it gets dark for two reasons. One so my cats wouldnt be home alone in the dark, and two so it looks like someone is home. But at night when the light is on you can see everything in my livingroom. This curtain helps block 90% of the view while giving my cats a curtain free zone so they can still enjoy watching outside.One thing I do wish is that if it was wider by like 2 inches. There is a gap between the curtain and door frame. Other than that, easy to set up. Thick material, elegant design. And what I do like it's one piece that has a slit down the middle.

I bought this for my messy closet. It's so beautiful! I picked the pattern of Van Gogh's Apricot Blossom and it turned out to be the right choice! One thing should be noticed is that the color is not as intense as the picture - it's more washed, probably due to the texture of the cloth. But still much into it!Absolutely go for it if you are an impressionism lover!

I bought one to take with me to decorate my new house. I put it up to see what it looked like at my mothers house and she liked it so much she kept it and made me buy another one. It really adds to the house, creating a comfy, cozy atmosphere. It also keeps just enough privacy for the other room. It is thick and good quality, while looking beautiful. It is definitely worth buying.

Got this food curtain for my living room door which faces my front entry hallway. It gives the sense of privacy without being overwhelming. Good weight fabric and excellent quality of the design make it stand out in my hallway. Excellent purchase - would definitely recommend.

Very good fabric, it comes folded so you have to iron or steam it. Love it !!!

High quality, heavy canvas with vibrant and beautiful colors was not expecting the thickness of the fabric, very nice. I wish it were longer but not enough to deduct a star.

They say this is natural fabric, cotton linen. It is not natural, it is not cotton, it is not linen. This is polyester fabric, and feels plastic coated or something. I always try to buy natural fabrics, and that is one reason I chose this product. Otherwise, the product is as described and looks nice in the doorway. The colours are nice and so is the print.

Beautiful clear printed nice linen curtain. Provides privacy but still allows for nice airflow from floor fan into the room. Quality is top notch and more than I expected. I order a lot and most printed curtains, etc are disappointingly dull and not vibrant. This is the exception. I would highly recommend it.

Great quality product. I like this noren better than the one I bought from another company because of how much longer it is. The fabric isn’t wrinkle-free but it’s easy to iron even though I didn’t do a very good job (I applied heat to the plain back rather than directly onto the designed side), and it feels very sturdy.I had no issues with the design being out of alignment, and it’s pretty easy to hang. I only wish the design was on both sides and that it was a little bit wider. But I have overly large doors in my apartment, so that might not be an issue for anyone else.I would definitely recommend getting a noren from this company. It looks great and the price is fair.

The illustration shows panels with the pattern perfectly matched. What arrived was two attached panels stuck randomly together with no regard for the pattern, in this case disembodied parts of a crane. This is not decorative, it’s a garish mishmash of pattern. I’m very disappointed.

I read the reviews about it being polyester and the sewing not lining up. I took my chances and ordered it, if it didn't workout I can always return it. It turned out perfect! Good quality cotton, sewing was spot on. For those who complained the slit/opening was too low, you can simply use a seam ripper or cutting blade to open it up to your desired height. Love it!
