Yige Women's High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket

I was looking for mid-shin skirts, something for the fall that I can wear athletic capris under for an extra layer. This skirt isn't quite long enough for my capris, but it's wonderful regardless. If you're a bike-shorts-under-skirts kind of person, this will suit you just fine.I usually wear an American size 4 Petite, but I sized up and purchased this Yige Women's High Waist Flared Skirt Pleated Midi Skirt with Pocket in a size 6.It fits perfectly -my waist is 28" and my hips are 39".The skirt arrived new and folded in a simple plastic sleeve. I steamed out the wrinkles with a little travel steamer, and even though I was hasty, the wrinkles were removed easily. The garment hangers are a nice touch, but I love the pockets! They may not be huge, but they are functional and will hold my phone (iPhone SE (same size as iPhone 5)). A nice liner is sewn in, it is almost as long as the skirt (not short like some liners) and it is a good color match, at least in khaki. The zipper didn't give me any trouble and is perfectly invisible.The pleats in the front and back are simple, classic, and evenly spaced. When I twist and swirl the skirt does not rise very high -so modesty is preserved and panties remain secret. But the skirt does enable plenty of motion, so if you need to climb into a monster truck you can. Lastly, my dog likes this skirt.So this classic shape fits me well, and it has pockets, and I think it is perfect. Now I need to decide what color I want to buy next 🤔

Absolutely love this skirt! Classic look for work; good length with flats or heels; love having pockets to keep my cell phone handy while at work; fabric doesn't get horribly wrinkled after riding in the car for hours at a time.Sizing: I ordered up after reading many reviews that said it ran small, but found that wasn't necessary. I'm 5'4", 112 lbs and usually wear a 2 in most brands. Going by the size chart, I ordered a 6, but returned it for a 4. A 2 would probably work as well, but might be a touch snug in the waist by the end of the day since the fabric has no stretch.If you value your other clothes, please please please wash this all by itself the first time. I ordered this in black and navy blue, and the dye bleeds. A LOT (see photo). Rinsing in the sink first, then using a Shout Color Catcher sheet in the washer helped avoid any disasters though.

I purchased this item as a regular "wear to work" piece. I have now worn it twice.The package arrived timely as indicated by Prime shipping. It was well packaged, and was not too wrinkled upon opening. One quick steam in the bathroom while showering dropped most of the more noticeable wrinkles. The material is nice...it has the nexture of denim, but a thinner material. The zipper works perfectly and seems to be made a sturdy quality. It dress up well, but can also be worn more casually (I have worn it with a black/white polka dot top and a denim button up; both looked great!)The skirt is hand wash only, something I didn't realize before ordering. I don't mind, though, but it is something to keep in mind.Size-wise, it does run a little snug. I am usually a size 14 (5'1", 175 lbs) it sits at my natural waist, and is just a bit tighter than I prefer, but it zips comfortably.

A great skirt for the price! I chose my size by looking at the size chart because the skirt does run small. I'm 5'6" and 148lbs and ordered a size 10. It fits perfectly around my natural waist. The skirt is lined, has pockets, and goes a little past my knees. 4 stars because the fabric is kind of on the cheaper side and the color is a bit paler than pictured.

Perfect Fit. I wear a 14 and I ordered size 14. It fits exactly as expected. Love finding true to size clothes on here! The olive is a rich deep color, perfect for fall/winter but I think not could be worn year round. The fabric weight is perfect for Florida. It's not heavy wool but it's a great quality fabric with some shine to it and a little sleekness almost like taffeta but without all the noise. Iys also a very modest length. I'm 5 foot tall and it came well last my knees, like mid calf so even an average height girl could still pull this off as knee length for church or the office. It has a nice flare to it. Not too bulky so it doesn't make you look wide even when you're short like me. I think it will need ironing as it had some wrinkles coming out of the package but not too bad. I'm thrilled with the fit and quality and plan to order in more colors.

I am in love with this skirt! For reference, I ordered a size 16, which is what I generally wear in jeans & anything that I want to fit over my hips & butt, but I actually probably could’ve gotten away with ordering a size down, even if I let it rest on my hips instead of wearing it waist-high. That alone makes me feel awesome about this order, but throw in the fact that the material is not too heavy or light, the color is just as shown, & the length is just right, too, & I’m swooning. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

For so very long (years!) I have been looking for a simple A-line skirt like this. Modest length, well lined, and pockets that are REALLY POCKETS! My hand actually fits into them! And as an added bonus with this skirt, the material is of a nice quality. I am so very pleased and have bought two of these skirts, one tan, one navy blue. I am a simple girl and for all those other simple girls out there that likes to dress nice with little hassle and be comfortable, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this skirt. Thank you so very much YIGE! I hope in time you will also come out with a few tasteful prints for your skirts as well. If I could, I would give you 10 stars.

Beautiful skirt. I love the color and fabric. I’m 118 pounds 5’3” and I ordered a size 3. PROBLEM zipper was defunct. It took me five minutes to zip up the first time I wore it and the zipper opened up on its own. I called amazon with complaint. Once I return it I will get full refund. But I am ordering AGAIN. Hopefully I don’t get a defective zipper again
