You get what you pay for
$20 for a camera that shows my face so that I don't look like a Vaseline smudge on a lens is what I would call value for money. It does the job adequately for my telehealth sessions, which is all I need it for.

The quality was cheap, but that's what you got for the price
I only need this for my weekly zoom meeting when I'm in office and I'm rarely in office, most of the time I work in laboratory or just have the meeting at home, where I already have a laptop with good quality of camera. The PC in office didn't have a camera and I just want some cheap camera for it. This is okay. People can see your face, that's all. If you want to record a video or take picture of it, I do not recommend it. I can say the images and video quality are lower than today's most phone camera.

Works great for my middle Schooler's online meetings
I wasn't willing to pay a lot for a webcam for my middle schooler. This works for his meetings, but if you're looking for a great quality picture webcam, you may want to consider another model. My other child has a webcam that we paid more for, and the quality of the picture is definitely better on that one. This will do for now, because we may not be using it for much longer.

Bad Webcam
I had to purchase a webcam for school so I could take proctored exams at home. I don't like the idea of anyone watching me over the internet on my webcam, so I set about trying to find the absolute worst one I could. This one is pretty terrible. I really feel like it has a better resolution than 480p, but it does have a focus on the lens, so you can adjust that to make it at least slightly blurry as needed. The only improvement is if they made a 240p version, otherwise, absolutely perfect for what I need it for.

The image shimmers
The image shimmers. The whole image shimmers like it's a massive heat wave. Not a good picture. The "clip" has no spring. Good luck trying to "clip" it to anything. I'll probably have to tape it down. My previous, totally cheap camera had a nice clip, with a spring, AND it autofocussed. This camera has a focussing ring that rotates endlessly and takes forever to focus. Not good at all. It might be worth $8.95, but it's not worth $12.99. And, my other camera is half the size. Too bad its picture is fading. It must be 20 years old and it's a great camera. Electronics are dirt cheap. Squirted out of a machine at high speed. There's no excuse for this to be more than 2 or 3 dollars.Do not believe the other reviews that say it's a good camera. These people have never owned a web cam before, obviously, because they think this one is good. You can't clip it on anything. I use it to watch cat food dishes I have outside the door. Why should I have to focus it?

You get what you pay for
I bought this inexpensive camera for a family Skype call on Mother's Day. My expectations were not high, but I was amazed at how difficult it was to get the mic on the camera to function. Once I did get it working, the quality was abysmal. The camera wasn't horrible, but it would be nice if the manual focus adjustments actually did anything. I'm not sure where the 10x digital focus comes into play, but it was a challenge to get a non-blurry picture to/from a stationary chair about 10 feet away. If anyone else has issues with the mic working when plugged into a newer PC, try using different USB slots. I was able to get the mic to work with a USB 2.0 slot (makes sense I guess since the camera/mic oare USB 2), but the mic would not work with a USB 3 port.

NOT compatible with USB 3.0
Says it is USB 3.0 compatible...it is NOT.Total waste if money. Didn't need to use it until after the return time ended.

Great Inexpensive Webcam Works With Linux...
I use this webcam just to do a quick setup for video conferencing on PCs that don't have a camera. It is inexpensive, but reasonably durable. The video quality is very acceptable for an inexpensive webcam. The video and audio are integrated into USB. I use recent Debian based Linux systems, and the webcam is plug 'n play, no driver install required.
