Picking up from where the last book left off, Eric Jerome Dickey further develops a hedonistic, harmonious connection between Mrs. Jones, Lola Mack and the man himself- Gideon. This was next level erotica. United through pain and tragedy, the 3 seek refuge from their troubles with pleasure. They manifest a beautiful world for themselves that still exists inside a very troubling one. Some readers struggle to understand the significance of such a freeing relationship, this upon many other experiences helped the main character heal and grow as he processes his topsy turvy past and juggles a chaotic present. Dickey brings us a character like none of his others. Someone with so much depth, balancing light and darkness within himself... can we also say that the man is a sex God??!! When he isn't mastering his upside-down orgasms, he is kicking ass and taking names. The man is a beast! And he still manages to capture our hearts... he will always be remembered in life and death. He is in my top 10, 5, make that top 3 literary characters of all time. Perhaps that comes from the swagger and style of writing from our beloved EJD but he has made someone so raw, real and magnetic- you want to lick the pages or your tablet . Every woman needs a Gideon in their life. We need the Gideon's of their world for all their taboo talents. They bring a special beauty to a ruthless game.Take time to read this series from beginning to end. I have read all 5 in this series and STILL reading them as I patiently wait for the next book. Oh, yes EJD is bringing more fire to Gideon's world. I can't wait to see how he concludes this masterpiece. It's like every time Gideon takes care of business and seemingly wraps up an issue, more danger and drama is lurking. I for one am thankful for a man with complexity and sex appeal. Keep it coming Eric!

Like other reviews have said there was entirely too much sex in this book. I read the two books (Sleeping With Strangers and this one) back to back and it was hard to get into this book right away with the chapters after chapters of sex that I had to get thru. I will say that the sex scenes were much better written than his earlier book Genevieve, but it seemed to go on and on to the point that I was thinking "get on with the story already."Once Gideon finally gets out of bed the story picks up a lot of pace and I can definitely say that I wasn't disappointed in the story in the least after it got going. I disagree with some of the reviewers that said the plot was too complicated - I felt that even with a having a lot of characters and changing locales that I was able to follow the story very well and there were enough twists and surprises to keep me glued til the end.I do agree however that this could have been one book instead of two. If there would have been 100 less pages of sex and then no need to repeat the shared details between the two books this could have been a great 500+ page book. Won't complain too much though, both books were worth the read although the pacing felt much tighter in Sleeping With Strangers.I'm now looking forward to the 3rd book now.

I usually get my books from the bookstore itself! I was sooooo excited for this book & even though the pages are fine, it just looks horrible. I'm pretty particular about my things & just wished this book was treated with a lot more care! Maybe place ur a cardboard sleeve to prevent things like this. I purchased this book "New" and it looks like it's been passed down from generation to generation! Something to think about here for us both Amazon....

Eric Jerome brings you to London in the best way imaginable! He’s so descriptive that you actually feel like you’re there. This story leads you on a trip with Gideon, a contract killer and two beautiful women he met on a plane. It’s picks up where “Sleeping With Strangers” left off and doesn’t disappoint. It’s thrilling and keeps u enthralled as well as super sexy. One of the best reads from one of the best authors! I HIGHLY recommend!

This book was even better than book 1. I loved the continued story, the characters (especially Lola), the humor, suspense, action, steamy sex, twists that I did not see coming. I haven’t read an EJD book in so long and now I’m remembering just how good his books are. Definitely recommend this one.

I absolutely could not put the book down since I started it. After finishing the first one this second was so intense and intriguing. It kept me until I had to force myself to stop. I love all of EJD`s books but these series are just the best. The hunting for his enemies, searching for his past, trying to make one woman love him when there were already two who did. This was the best especially all the sex scenes. My mind ran wild. Thanks EJD, can't wait to read the next one which is now, lol.

Not sure what was going on in EJD's life at the time he wrote this but one things for sure, either he was in the middle of a feast or in the middle of a famine because he wrote this book as if his hormones were on overload. Gideon ended up being the beneficiary. I read this book being a step ahead of the curve just as I was when reading "Sleeping with Strangers". To me this book gave me more foundation to "Dying for Revenge". This book starts heated and stays that way for the majority of the time. It also sheds some more light on the relationships that Gideon has with the various people in his life (mostly women), and the things that make him the man that he is. This book is very erotic and shows just how powerful the spoken word can be. It will take your mind places if you let it. THIS SERIES SHOULD BE A MOVIE!!!!

EJD was the man! This series was the catalyst to bringing me closer to my mom and when she had my older brother (LATE in life) she let me name him and I chose the name Gideon because of this book. This book is/was/will forever be everything

EJD pens a very good story. Different scenarios with different characters running all at the same time - keeps you gripped. Very prompt delivery. Item as advertised. Very good condition. Would recommend seller.

Absolutely loved the trilogy. Although this is an erotic read, the books are well written and storyline had me on the edge of my seat!

Fantastic story line Brillient Writing kept me intrigue right from the begining to the end i can not wait to read the next sequel to it.Another great book from Eric Dickey
