I purchased this strainer to clean my cat's litter boxes and it works great. As a senior person, my bending ability isn't what it used to be so the longer handle helps. It's very sturdy and sifts the litter very nicely, extending the life of the litter by a few days. In this and convenience, it's already paid for itself.

It works well for getting food out when frying or even getting single servings pasta out (like a colander)

Sturdy. When using with pasta immediately clean with a brush or scrubby as the pasta starch tends to stick between the spokes and is hard to remove once dried.

I love this thing. Love that is stainless. I use it for ravioli but you could use it to scoop out fried things as well. The size is good, not too big or small for scooping 1-3 items at a time. I can't believe I was living without this product until now.

Have been meaning to buy a kitchen spider for pasta for awhile. This one is a fantastic value for the $$. Nice quality but lightweight for ease of use. Perfect handle length.
