JUYA Paper Quilling Kit with 960 Strips and 14 Tools (Blue Tools, Width 3mm Have Glue)

Just got this today and already made my first butterfly, heart, dragonfly, and flowering plant! These are the first quilled pieces I've ever made, so I'm a total beginner. There aren't instructions with the kit, so you'll need to hit up YouTube University or purchase a beginner book or two, but that's all I did and I'm very comfortable making all of the shapes and combining them to make things. This is a fun hobby, and this is a good, high quality kit to start with. Comes with a lot of paper in all kinds of colors and the tools are nice quality.

I'm new to this craft so these are the first quilling tools and paper I have seen in real life. The paper is more vibrant than I expected and in my shipment they included a free package of white strips. Each group of paper is individually packaged so I received 8 packs of the colored paper. They also included a free pattern and 6" ruler made from card stock. The board is smaller than I expected at 150 mm x 210 mm (about 6" by 8.5") but I should have figured that out compared to the other tools in the picture. The two slotted quilling tools have acrylic handles with a nice swirl design inside and feel good and smooth in my hand. The tweezers are all metal like those that come with a serger. The curling coach is acrylic. The crimper, handle to comb, and border buddy are rigid plastic with the crimper feeling toy-like. The ball board is a softer plastic. The scissors are not top quality but the big handles are comfortable and the point is good for snipping the paper. Although it seemed a little pricey for so much plastic, I am overall happy with my purchase. I like the idea of getting a set with a variety of tools so that I can try out different techniques. Note there is not an instruction manual that comes with it but there are plenty of videos posted on the Internet. Also, estimated delivery said about a month but I received in 11 days after order was placed.
