It lives up to it's name!
In contrast to our old duplicator which ruined almost as many discs as it copied, this one still has a 100% success rate after copying several hundred disks of different types and different brands. One of the reasons it is so reliable is because the manufacturer has added ventilation slots and additional cooling fans to keep the drives cool. While it has a USB port for connection to a PC, the user manual doesn't explain how to use this function. However, it is so fast and reliable on it's own, we don't bother connecting it to a PC. With it's single source drive and 5 target drives (no HDD) it copies much faster and more accurately than our old duplicator with a HDD and seven target drives. I would highly recommend this equipment to any individual, church, or organization that produces multiple discs on a regular basis. At the price from Amazon the "Bestduplicator" is a "Best Buy"!

makes blu-ray copies with no sound or pic
I copied 2 blu-rays as soon as I got the duplicator. The duplicator indicated that the process was concluded successfully. The 2 blu-rays, copies of 2 different sources both played black screen and no sound - nothing.

USB to PC option nearly useless.
Regarding the USB capability: When connected to a computer, the computer only sees the top "reader driver" (which is a burner too). SO it only adds one drive to a computer's "eyes," so programs like Nero only see one drive. This is a bummer. I'm tempted to send it back because it will be slower for me burn copies because FIRST you have to burn one disc so that it has a disc to burn from.Obviously if you want to only burn from a disc, then it is fine.

Duplicator for blu ray use
Fast shipping!....Little confused with the manual as far as using the USB option little is mentioned....nice packing job....haven't tried using it yet to copy disks yet...I am most interested in copying my blu ray disks that I have my own video taken with my hd camera....I videotape events for major sports celebrity events and make copies for the Hall of Fame afterwards....I hope this unit doesn't fail me....the reason I gave 4 stars at this time because I have not tested this machine yet and see how much punishment it can take with the workload....In time if it works good, I will repost a review update....UPDATE: July 26, 2015: I have finished completing a project for some sports celebrities...I finished duplicating last week 150 dvds and 100 blu ray disks of video that I took for a sports event and forwarded these to a Hall of Fame facility for distribution....All dvds and blu ray disks were duplicated fast and great quality with no failures (and the duplicator stayed cool)....so I change the rating to 5 stars on this product...nice machine!!

It's great.
If you need to duplicate DVDs, this is perfect. I had to make about 100 copies of a recital DVD and it saved me a lot of time. Works perfectly.

After six months stopped working and can't get any help!
I had this unit and it worked ok for the first few months, but then the bottom tray stopped working correctly, and now the unit doesn't recognize any discs. I have tried to locate the company and get help, I've e-mailed through Amazon, and NO RESPONSE! What a joke. I can't believe somebody cans spend a few hundred dollars on something and the company can't respond to help.

Hopefully fixed?
I am VERY unhappy with this product. 1) The power supply must be installed backwards. It will only operate when in the 230v setting. When the switch is in the 110v setting absolutely nothing works. 2) The LCD screen flickers VERY badly, like it's almost disconnected. 3) Virtually EVERY disc I try to duplicate gets the message of "Bad Master Disc"--no matter if it is CD, DVD, or Blu Ray. I have checked these discs on another duplicator and they are fine--plus, when I mastered these discs, they were burned on the "Copy and Compare" function so they are an accurate bit-by-bit copy. This unit is nonsense. So far no luck with Support or Customer Service. VERY unhappy, and I'm a professional filmmaker.UPDATE: I was able to finally get through to somebody (my initial tech calls seemed to go in the circular file) and they tried to tell me I had bad masters--until I told them about the weird power supply (230v setting) and the flickering LCD. They admitted they had "seen this problem before" and that "it's a bad power supply, and when it's on 230v it will give error messages due to the wrong amperage." (The unit is totally dead, DOA, when you put it on 110V.) So I'm now waiting for a RMA and they assure me they will get it fixed. At least they didn't try to palm this off as my issue. Hopefully this will be corrected soon.

It's great and does the job
It's great and does the job, just wish it would burn a little faster on the discs that won't stabilize around 3.9x/4.0x burn speeds.
