My kids loved this light and I will purchase more of them to share this coming Christmas... I purchased the Jurassic Velociraptor light and will be getting the other two T-Rex lights soon. You can select which color you want the light or have it cycle through all of them. It is super simple to assemble (2-3 steps depends our power source you use), and to power it on, you just touch the button on the base. To cycle through each color, just press the button again. Overall, this is an innovative way to give the illusion of a 3D hologram. The construction and design is such that it will not tip of fall over when bumped and takes up only a small footprint of area. It is a great light and may be a touch to bright to have right next to the head of the bed. We placed my son’s Jurassic Velociraptor night light across his bedroom from his bed which makes the brightness just about perfect… not too bright to keep him awake yet bright enough to get him safely to his bedroom light switch at night if he wakes up.These fantastic lights can run off batteries or any USB power source. As mentioned above, I will be purchasing more… especially for Christmas. Lastly, I ordered it on a Friday and it arrived Monday… hard to beat Amazon Prime shipping speedsI will add that this light does NOT come with the USB adapter plug. It does not indicate anywhere in the Product Description that a USB adapter is included nor did I assume one came with it. I think most people have a surplus of USB cell phone chargers around the house now days, which is what we used. However, if you plan to gift one of these terrific night light’s, I would suggest getting an inexpensive USB plug adapter as well… just in case. It would be somewhat of an awkward moment if the recipient of the light did not have one; not likely but possible.

Amazing night light, great for the dinosaur lover in your life. When I first opened the box I was surprised that the “3D” was a thin piece of Transparent Acrylic with the Velociraptor etched on it. Once it plugged it in I could see the “3D” effect. This light puts off a lot of light and is a very effective night light that I know any dinosaur lover will love, especially if they are younger. The multiple colors is a great feature, I found that some of the colors enhanced the “3D” effect.I am giving this a 4 star rating primarily because it comes with a USB chord and no wall adapter. It does give you the option of using 3-AAA batteries; if I did not have a wall adapter, I would not have been able to use this until I purchased batteries or an adapter. It’s not a deal breaker and I still highly recommend this product.I will be purchasing this and other models as birthday gifts for my nephews or nieces.

This night light is awesome. First off, it’s well-packaged. As you can see from my unboxing photos, the industrial design of the packaging is well thought-out. It’s straightforward and secure without being overly complicated.Setting up the light is very intuitive. Just insert your acrylic design, plug in the base, and then touch the power button to light it up! Cycle the power on and off to scroll through the numerous colors (and there are quite a few).The bonus design was quite a delightful surprise! The whole family really loves this lamp. I think this would be perfect in a child’s room, in a man cave, or even on a bar. This lamp really is a great find!

It's very pretty and it's nice, but I don't see the 3D effect at all. Not really like a hologram at all.

For the cost I was surprised at how well the effect of the 3D illusion was. When it is the only light on in the room you can understand the 3D look all the more. Makes a very good nigh light. The ability to change colors is a nice plus. Very simple to put together and operate. I was thankful to see that the package arrived in perfect condition. The USB cable didn't come with the part to plug into a wall socket, but that was a big deal because over the years it seems I have plenty of those laying around. Overall this makes an interesting gift.

I wanted a Dinosaur night light since I was young. After I saw the movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom I want it so bad. So I found this on Amazon and the seller was very nice, I even got a star war spaceship as a bounce gift so I can replace it. You can also change the color of the light.

I got a pair of these lights for my two youngest grandsons. The dinosaur lights up in a pattern on a piece of lucite that looks sort of reminiscent of a hologram. It does lack the dimensionality of a holagram. The light internal to the base can be set 2 make the design appear in one of several colors, or you can choose to have it rotate through all the colors on its own. All in all, this is a novel little light that provided my grandchildren with a really fun experience.

we got 2 of these dino lamps for my sons 4 and 5 for Christmas. they loved them so much we bought one as a gift for my 5 year old nephew! The lamp comes in various colours and keep the kids entertained. All 3 boys gave the lamp a perfect rating! They don't sleep without them. Very happy!

My son loves this dinosaur night light had one before that broke so did the job to keep his room lit up
