Hanna InstrumentsHI98103 Checker pH Tester with Replaceable Electrode for Plant Germination

Used for indoor hydroponic gardening. The Hanna is great built quality and accuracy. A little pricey, but worth the money. I was going through cheap "imported" meters every month or two months due to cheap quality. . Been using a Hanna for almost a year old now and it still works perfectly.

In my opinion there is no great solution to the problem this tackles...No matter what you buy when it comes to ph pens the electrode part is a consumable. If you let it dry out it has to be replaced. If you take great care of it you still have to replace it about once a year depending on the solution your dealing with. I may be back in the future but the next time I have to replace the electrode I will be testing out one of the cheaper solutions. I couldn't even find the replacement on amazon... so ya i will be down grading to see what kind of mileage I get from one of the ones that cost less than the replacement electrodes.

I don’t really know what else to say other than I really like this company they make a lot of their sensors and products in Europe and they’re well calibrated when they come their professional product. It’s a great idea if you’re a hobby who wants more accurate sensors.

Doesn't work right out of the box, 3 days past the return, on it's way to the garbage.

My wife and I used to work in a lab, and have years of experience with pH meters. This one calibrated easily and worked without any issues. Nice small size and reads a relatively small sample so you don't have to waste large amounts of what your sampling.

Meter came with a dry crusty probe and the seller does not respond. A dry probe will give inaccurate readings.

Easy to use and easy to clean. Calibration is easy, I use this for checking the PH level when I am making hot sauce. Very simple one button use item!

Easy to use once its calibrated. Stays calibrated for a long time. Product is accurate and works great.
