Unplugged Explorers 9 Piece Outdoor Toys Kids Adventure Kit is a wonderful product.As a former Kindergarten teacher I highly recommend this product. I bought it for my niece and after seeing it in person I will buy it again for my nephews.Things I love:1) Children learn best through play and this set has everything you need for a great learning adventure!2) You can actually use the compass to teach map skills.3) The crank on the flashlight means mom and dad do not have to worry about constantly buying batteries.4) The magnifying bug collection cup has a built in ruler to measure your finds in inches.5) The whistle can be blown by parents to cue your child to come back and check in.6) Everything fits in one bag that can stay in the back of the car so adventures can happen spontaneously.7) This set is a great value!8) Great for both boys and girls and comes in gender neutral color choices of yellow and purple.9) This is a great value for a high quality product.10) Comes with very helpful basic instructionsYou will need to add a pencil to use the Adventure Journal.Dislike: I didn't have this when my daughter was young. She would have played with it for hours at a time.

This outdoor set comes with lots of good stuff for your little explorer! One of the things that I think sets this Explorer kit apart is the quality of each item inside is very good and functional. The binoculars are pretty strong and sturdy. The magnifying glass is also strong but small enough for little hands. The hand powered flashlight is pretty neat. I also really like the sling bag that comes with it. The kids can keep all their tools inside while they're walking around in the outdoors exploring. I love the Journal! My kids love to look back and remember fun things that they have done. The journal provides a place for them to record their explorations. Then they can show me and their friends what they have discovered. Overall great product!

My seven-year-old grandsons loved this kit. They immediately ran outside to explore nature. I think this will keep them happily occupied for many visits in the future. All parts seem well-made.

Beyond pleased!! So many toys these days are cheaply made, but every piece in the set is super durable, very well made, and everything works beautifully! Just as good as any adult versions. It was great hearing the kids fighting over binoculars instead of video game controllers for once! And they had hours of fun just in the backyard.

Great idea, but the product is not well made. We got this for a 4 year old's birthday gift and it was a hit! That said, the product itself wasn't great. The eye pieces on the binoculars fell off immediately and they don't focus, the "notebook" was just a pad of paper, everything felt flimsy and cheap. The compass was the only thing that was halfway decent. You could probably make a better kit for the same price by buying each piece and putting it together yourself. Fun concept, but poor construction. At least the 4 year old is having fun with it.

My daughter absolutely loves this kit! It’s simple enough for her to use, and has everything she needs to have an adventure! We took my brother fishing the other day, so she took her adventure backpack with her. When we got there she pulled the binoculars out to see a bird up in the tree, she happily said “It’s a Blue Jay!!” She was so proud of herself! We then walked around looking for bugs and enjoying our day. It definitely motivated her to get outside and have fun, and we love the no-battery flashlight as well! So cute and convenient! Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member! ❤️

Bought this for my 11 year old. We live in the desert and he uses it in the open areas around our home. He says he likes it a lot he likes the big collection container to catch and study bugs. His favorite parts are the dual power flashlight (you can hand crank it) and the whistle with Morris code sheet. He says the binoculars are great for watching birds and other animals. I was sceptical about him being too old but he’s really enjoyed it and it definitely gets him out of the house and away from screens. He says the only thing he wish it had was a thermometer 🙂
