Absolutely Worth the Price
The Casio CTX-700 is a great choice for beginners. It is loaded with features and can be purchased at a reasonable price. My favourite song to learn on this piano has been been Movement I of Moonlight Sonata by Ludwig Van Beethoven. This piano comes with Pros as well as Cons :-Pros:• The piano is high quality and sturdy• The keys have a glossy finish• A whopping 600 different tones (not that anyone needs those many)• Plenty of songs along with their notes so that you can play along• Many useful functions like transposition, touch, reverb, chorus and equalizer• The keyboard backlight brightness can be adjusted; however, the white backlight color can't be changed• Speakers are big and volume can be transitioned very smoothly from 0% to 100%• Transposition can be done to access all 88 notes• User manual isn't really required as all the buttons are straightforward and well labelledCons:• There were several holes in the box in which the keyboard arrived; however, the keyboard itself wasn't damaged in any way• The speakers are covered with thin fabric• All the default songs are pretty old and there are no recent pieces• Not recommended for advanced players as playing some songs (especially pieces by Chopin and Liszt) is simply impossible as 61 keys shall not be enough• Some of the default songs have been transposed in the wrong scale and chords/octaves have been simplified to single notes (I think this was done to make the piece easier to play but it doesn't sound goodWhile these cons do exist, the pros outnumber them and the only thing you need to be careful about is not bringing sharp objects near the speakers. So, go for it, it's well worth the price.

Great
It has really great features at a really reasonable price. The touch sensitivity is awesome and has 4 levels from OFF to Heavy...Comes with an adapter and has reasonable output volume. Since the keys are touch sensitive, you may feel the volume to be a bit low, but it goes loud with touch turned off. Management is easy and takes very less time to master. My 6 yr old son is also able to set and play. Overall, a recommended product for all age groups.
