Replacement 21.5" Rod - No Attachments - Rod Only

My cats love this wand toy (one in particular) so I will continue ordering it, but there are some things I wish were better. For one, the clip on the end is not sturdy enough. My cats like to tug and pull the toy behind them after the catch it (and then take it somewhere to hide it). This is the third replacement I've had to buy because the clip broke off (the part that screws in is stuck in the rod while the round portion is still connected to the attachment). Wish they would improve the attachment connection or make it more sturdy. It is such a small piece of flimsy metal holding the attachment on. Not great for aggressive cats (like bengals and turkish vans).

Strong, secure, sturdy rod.Great length.Goes with the Neko Fly toys or any string toy with a clip, clasp, etc.The Neko toys are my cats' favorites. They are tough toys and really last.Expensive as far as cat toys, but they are worth the price both for how much cats love them and for the quality and sturdiness and long life.(Many toys have come and gone and the Neko ones ate still going and still favorites.

This wand is wonderful! The little lobster claw closure makes it so easy to change the toys - soooo smart. I can't say how many finger nails I've broken by trying to change the ones that have jump ring attachments. I bought the Kittycatterfly, Kittycada and Birbug attachments along with the wand and my cats LOVE them. My boy flys through the air and does backflips- which he hasn't done in months after becoming bored with our other wand toys. The little "bugs" move just like real bugs. We couldn't be happier and will be buying more attachments.

Originally I purchased the Neko rod with katarantula attachment. I also purchased the kragonfly and kittykada attachments. I quickly realized I needed an additional rod. This rod is exactly like the one that comes with the attachments and had the "Neko Flies" insignia on the handle of the wand. While the one I received with my original was bowed this one is perfectly straight and works much better. I do wish Neko Flies would have a longer rod available for purchase. Personally, I think with the length of the string on the attachments this rod is too short.

I originally bought this toy in a local store but when I broke the rod (stepped on it one day), I had trouble finding a replacement. This one was affordable & exactly as promised. Shipping was free & FAST. :)

I wish the rod was longer. Thats why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. Works well with the Neko Flies.

Great well made product, just wish it was a few inches longer.

Perfect product, until one steps on it in the middle of the night (ouch)and it snaps! It's an absolutely necessary item for my kitty to lead his pal Foxi to water. I think they should be sold in packages of three.
