Silicone/ Metal/ Paper comparison
I ordered both Silicone and Metal straws, as I was not sure which I would prefer. I have since been able to use paper compostable straws at a restaurant. They all get the job done and the metal/silicone are easy enough to clean. They all have slightly different features. Both were very good products and are exactly as described. I will outline what I see as the differences.Silicone -Pros: -very bendable and able to fit easily in my purse. - Fun colors. - Easy to clean. - Cannot feel the temperature. - Flexible and can bend at will.Cons: - Very difficult to mix beverages if you have something on the bottom, like chocolate milk, sugar, Splenda, etc. - Certain colors will not be used by certain people (sounds silly but true). - Not fixed at a bendable position like the traditional bendy straws.Paper:Pros: - Single use, no need to clean. -Easy to transport/ available at some restaurants. - Stands up to the job. -Can use to stir.Cons: -Single use means more waste. - It held up when I was drinking, although I don't know how long it will last before it starts to get soggy. - For whatever reason, paper just felt strange.Metal:Pros: - Can easily stir anything. - Some are straight, some are bent towards the top so you do not have to tip your drink towards you. - Can feel the temperature of the beverage, which can tell you if it is too hot/cold. -Easy to clean.Cons: - Have to be careful with temperature of beverages. It will alert you if too hot/ cold, although at times it was the right temperature and my lips were getting cold from drinking. -Not able to bend, so does not fit as easily in my purse. - Makes more noise banging against one another.I would not personally buy paper straws, except when having a large event which requires no cleaning. I just did not like how they feel. I really like both metal and silicone, although due to the different properties, I use them at different times. I like having the mix of both to be able to have what suits best in the moment.

Loved them at first, then disappointed.
I loved these so much I eventually bought a second set. Great colours fair price, the hand written note from the seller was something I rarely see from an Amazon buy. Sadly after about a year of use for the first set (less for the second) they’ve started to degrade and the filler in the product has become very apparent. I thought it was my hard water at first but it’s not. These didnt blanch when pinched at first, now they barely hold their shape after a vigorous scrub and it’s clear the white residue that builds up when left in water isn’t something sticking to the straw, it’s plastic leaching out!! 🤢 Sadly can no longer recommend. On the hunt for truly safe silicone straws once again!!

epicness?
These are epic.first let me say this, I love all straws. I do not discriminate. Plastic, silicone, paper (well, maybe not paper, they fall apart), metal (well, maybe not metal, I don't like the metal banging up against my teeth)...So, actually, I only like Plastic and silicone....These straws are awesome, they work by putting the one side in your drink, and sucking on the other!it worked every-time!The gad they came in, is being used by my 4 year old as a purse! The straw cleaner works perfectly for my Yeti straws in my Rambler. They are colorful, which, is cool ,if that's your thing. I wouldn't have minded some white and black, but ehh, whatever! or poke-a-dots.neways, these are great, suck! wait.. THESE SUCK!wait.. They SUCK in a good way!!Easy to Clean? 5 stars! They clean well!Durability? it doesn't fall apart like those stupid paper straws!Flavor? No Flavor at all! which is perfect! (I don't want fruit punch flavor in my soda)

Perfect straws!!!
I LOVE THESE!! I use straws a lot as I try and drink plenty of water and I feel using straws helps with this. I recently threw out all my plastic reusable straws because of BPA and got metal straws, but they are heavy and very loud on glass - I tend to wake up during the night and drink water sometimes and I was worried about waking up my boyfriend, and also it just got annoying during the day or driving in car rattling on the glass or metal vessel. Not with these though! They are lightweight, and not clanky on the glass. I love the colors, and that they come with several brushes for cleaning. I’m also impressed with the bag they came with, I store them in this in my utensil drawer so they don’t get lost and stay clean. These have a nice narrow opening for water and liquid drinks (not smoothies) which is what I wanted, and fit in all my vessels that fit straws from Starbucks and Yeti. Very impressed!

I love these straws
These are, as they state, regular size straws. They fit the regular size holes in sippy cups. They are not smoothie-cup fat straws, but my granddaughters drink smoothies through them every day. The hard plastic straws that came with the cups were so chewed up on the ends, I looked for an alternative. I ordered some silicon smoothie straws, but they were too wide for the holes in my sippy cup lids. Then I found these. They are perfect. I rinse them out after each use, then put them in the dishwasher. I only gave them 4 stars for durability because I don't know yet how well they will hold up to the straw chewing by my granddaughters. So far, so good. You can also easily cut these to the length you want, so if the girls chew off the end, I'll just cut a new one until the straw get too short, then order more.

Perfect for kids and bottled drinks
Good size straws, I bought the huge ones the first time and it was harder to use for the toddler. These ones are perfect for bottled drinks (water, club soda, whatever). The straws are long enough to stick out so the kids can drink easily, but since it's flexible, I can just squish it down and still close the bottle when done. Sturdy enough that the little one can chew on it all the time but not flatten like regular straws. And don't get me started on stupid paper straws with a toddler....
