I have a wide foot for a woman and love these shoes I wear a European size 39 in Birkenstock and wear the same size in these. (I am on the smaller side of a 39 in Birkenstock's) In case you are wondering in this brand a 39 EUR is a size 6.5 in US mens, and a 7.5 in US womens. They fit nice and tight but not painful, may need time for the leather to stretch to your foot. Good for beginners and gym climbers and minimal outdoor climbing.
