I used them on my cab for easy removal and fitting... they are lying there for a long time and still does what they are supposed to do. These are not good for heavy load holding but for tie them up or to get a good grab. Again it depends of what you are using it for...value for money.

This is an affordable and well made method to add tie-down points virtually anywhere you want them. Be aware, the anodized aluminum components that are exposed to the sun will fade into the bronze color from black as shown in my image above. Otherwise, I have no complaints. The hardware is good quality, the nuts have nylon inserts so they don't need a lock washer. The backing plates spread the load over a larger area versus just using washers and there is enough length on the bolts to allow them to be placed on thicker materials. I used them on the floor of the bed of my truck to hold a 12 volt refrigerator in place as well as holding down the roof of my off-road rack and providing nine rooftop tie-down points. This is the second time I've bought this product and they continue to suit my needs.

I bought these anchors to replace cheap ones originally installed in my motorcycle trailer, one of which had failed causing my HD to fall over😥. My trailer came with 4 anchors, 1 on each corner. I plan to relocate 2 of the anchors to the mid-point of the motorcycle and trailer. I will do this because all ratchet straps should pull the motorcycle the same direction into the Wheel Chock. Now If a strap or anchor fails the motorcycle will remain in place because the remaining straps are pulling the bike 🏍 in the same direction into the Chock. Never attach ratchet straps that pull in opposite directions, this puts too much stress on the anchors and in my case was the reason my front anchor broke/failed. I gave the anchor kit 4 stars because the 2 inch bolts included are insufficient length for most trailer installations so I’m off to Home Depot to buy 50 cent 4 inch bolts😜. It’s cheap and short sighted of this product to not include extra sets of bolts.

I am very happy with this device. It allows fast and easy anchoring of anything to a holding spot. Its very strong if mounted properly. I use it to put up a privacy curtain in my van conversion.

This is a great idea. We live on the RI coast which is subject to hurricane/wind damage. I purchased these as a vehicle to tie down our items on our exposed decks. I haven't had occasion to use them but I think they will do the job. One observation, I received them coated with a black coating that was acceptable to fit in with our home color. They have been exposed to the sun for a month or so and the black coating now has a bronze color. suggestion to the manufacturer, use a better coating.

So far these work great. As others have pointed out, the bolts that come with it are not long enough to go through the floor of a trailer, so you will likely have to head to the hardware store before installing them. I did find the right diameter and length bolts, and they are mounted perfectly. However, I am a bit concerned about the tensile strength of the replacement bolts and how that will affect load capacity. Would give it five start if not for that. Otherwise nicely designed and doing what they are supposed to do.

Happy with the function and convenience of these anchors. Not so pleased that they faded in the sun and now aren't black like the bed they're attached to.
