Hugely disappointed with this design. I like Ortlieb, but the 'single-use' cable attachment for the mount is bad in many ways. It's hard to fit. The cable is narrow and likely to damage the bars. And it's single use so you cant transfer the bag onto other bikes.Wish I hadn't bought it.The mount came loose after 3 days ride, and the bag drooped onto the wheel causing damage to the webbing.Ortlieb did agree to replace the mount. But on reflection - having a single-use mount - when we may want to transfer between bikes is not a very good feature. I suggest Ortlieb should redesign the mount to make it multi-use

Good bag. I found it really useful on a recent cycling trip. Good for small items such a phone, sunglasses, cycling cap, repair kit etc. It is waterproof and the best bit, I found, was the way it opens and closes : it is very easy to take things out or put things in while on the move as the lid shuts with magnetic catches. A quick flip up to open and a quick flip back when the magnets pull it into the fully secure closed position.
