I bought these lights to go with some tall poles I set up in the backyard. Figured it was time to stop sitting in the dark like a cave troll. They looked solid online, and luckily, they actually are. The string's long enough to cover a good chunk of space, and the bulbs have a nice warm glow, not too bright, not too dim, just right for chilling out.Hooking them up was easy. I just ran the wire across the top of the poles and used some clips to hold it in place. The solar panel part isn’t huge, but it gets the job done. I left it out during the day, and the lights stayed on for hours after sunset—didn't even have to mess with the USB charging yet. And bonus, the bulbs didn’t crack when I dropped one on the patio (don’t ask).Couple small downsides: the solar panel can be picky about where you stick it—if it doesn’t get full sun, it’s kind of lazy at night. Also, the string could use a few more hooks or clips, but I just used zip ties and called it a day. Not a big deal, just something to know going in.All in all, they look great with the poles and make the backyard feel way cooler. It’s kind of like having a mini café setup without needing to spend a ton. If you’ve got a space that needs some light and a little style, this’ll do the trick. Just don’t forget to aim that solar panel at the sun like it owes you money.
