Quickie Tub N' Tile Power Scrubber

It cleans fairly well. But it stops sometimes. It starts again but is annoying.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars but went with 4 since I've only used it once since receiving it. It went together quite easily and very quickly with very easy to understand instructions. I charged it 20+ hours as the directions suggested before using it. It is definitely better than trying to clean the tub and shower without it but still not super great. It almost seemed as if it still wasn't fully charged as it didn't have much power, especially after just a few minutes. However, the instructions say it may take 4 charging/discharging cycles to get the battery up to optimal performance, so I'm willing to give it time. The metal extension handle feels a little bit flimsy and I'm a little concerned it could break or crack at a connection point in the future. We have extremely hard water deposits so it takes some serious brushing to remove it and I feel I have more power doing it myself with a small handheld brush. I'm still going to have to do that after using this. I would recommend this for someone with softer water and an easy to clean tub. I don't have the strength I once did and I found this to be helpful in that way so I believe this can be useful for older or slightly disabled people. I just wish it had more power! I will update my review if anything changes after I've used it a few more times.

Best purchase I've made in quite a while! I have older ceramic tile in some high traffic areas: kitchen, utility room, bathrooms, etc. Add to that a disabled spouse who uses a walker and four dogs. My old ceramic tile has reached the stage in its life where it absorbs every piece of dirt within a 5 mile radius and somehow just holds on to it. Previously, I've used a scrub brush (on my hands and knees) to clean it to get the embedded dirt out. A few days later, the dirt is back, so unless I'm willing to spend a few hours a day scrubbing, I have to live with a floor that is a whole lot less clean than I'd like.Enter the Quickie Tub & Tile Power Scrubber. Ok, I was skeptical, but I've bought a bunch of products that were a lot more expensive than this to try to solve the problem and figured I had nothing to lose. This little baby along with some floor cleaner solution made much shorter work of cleaning my floors. Since it isn't a back-breaking job to clean them with this, I can clean them more frequently and easily keep up with the dirt.I used the larger, flatter brush for the floors and then went back with the smaller conical brush to do the grout. This machine is very easy to use and I was amazed at how long the battery life is. I worked on the floors for about an hour and still had ample battery left. I am very pleased with the product. What I love most is you don't need to use much energy, just hold the scrubber lightly against whatever area you need to clean, and let it do the work for you. Seriously, it was that simple and I am thrilled that I made this purchase.My shower doors had an enormous amount of dirt buildup, and after spraying some glass cleaner directly onto the glass doors, the Quickie Power Scrubber had them looking like new again. I used a clean rag to wipe off the residue of the glass cleaner, since the brush does the scrubbing - but not the wiping/drying. The scrubber was equally as effective on the porcelain sink/toilet/tub and floor/wall tiles.I have only used the large round brush so far, but a cone-shaped brush attachment is also included, and will come in handy for corner areas on the wall tile, as well as in the corners of the shower/tub.Make sure you charge the unit for a full 24 hours before using it for the first time. I've only used it once , so I cannot report on how many cleanings I can get out of one charge, but some customers who commented here claim it's good for cleaning approx. 3 bathrooms before the battery needs to be recharged. After the initial use, the charge takes much less time to get the unit fully powered up again.This will certainly make cleaning the bathroom a lot less stressful.TO QUICKIE: Where on your website can we purchase replacement brushes and replacement rechargeable batteries for the unit? I probably buy every new cleaning gadget I come across since I hate to clean but like a clean house. Many I have been disappointed in and have tossed quite a few of them. This is a keeper! I have fibromyalgia and am not a spring chicken any more, so scrubbing the hard water deposits due to well water and soap scum from a large shower with glass doors was a chore I dreaded and tended to put off, which doesn't make it any easier. Received this yesterday, gave it a 20 hr. charge and began. I didn't think the power scrubber was overly heavy, although it can get a bit awkward in tight spaces. It is not going to scrub out stains that have permeated through the outer surface, it's not a magic wand. But boy does it scrub! Wet your tub or shower down, spray it with your favorite shower cleaner, and you will be done in a fraction of the time it used to take, with no more aching back or tired sore hands and arms. Hallelujah! Biggest drawback I see is that I found a few bristles had fallen from the brush head when I was done and I don't see where Amazon sells replacements when this one wears out. Looks like Home Depot online does, but so expensive you'd be better off buying a whole new set up from Amazon.

You have to charge it for 20 hours the first time. The light goes on when it is charging, the instructions say. When i plugged it in the first time the light came on but a minute later the light went off. Move the cord around, and even tried plugging the cord in another outlet. The light will come on for a minute then turn off again. Now i cant get the light to turn on at all. According to their 90 day limited warranty i will need to pay shipping to get it fixed or replaced. Why the heck should i have to pay for shipping on a broken product. I am unsure if the product was even close to full power when i got it. When i tried to use the scrubber to clean the bathroom and i put the product against the shower wall it would stop spinning. So really not very powerful in the first place. Keep in mind I am unsure if this product has even been charged properly.

This did exactly what I expected and wanted it to do. It cut down the cleaning time of my walk in shower in half. I like that it has 2 interchangeable heads. The only thing that would make this better is if it came with a flat brush as well. Now I have seen an ad on TV for the exact same product which includes also includes a flat brush at no extra charge.
