It's a mud guard, it just needs to keep splatter out of your face and off suspension components. This plastic is overkill for that and correspondingly heavy and more difficult to bend and work with. Its a cheap way to get 2 preformed mud guards along with a front mustache/tire scraper but would not be my first choice again. Using plastic 3 times as thick as others is not a positive like they make it out to be. Youe just end up with less clearance and mkre weight. A fljmsy milk carton would still be enough to stop mud. The provided zip ties are beyond junk, just barely hand tightening is enough to snap them apart, but virtually everyone will have others available so that's not a big deal.

I decided on three stars, not because the fenders are bad quality, but because the green in the picture does not match the green on the actual fenders. I went ahead and kept them thinking I will turn them over so they will just be black. I have had this color issue happen with two other items from Race Face. It is really irritating.

Easy enough to install, did not come with zip ties. They've been on my bike for a few rainy days, and while not a full fender, the help keep the major spray off my crotch.

Not a bad mud flap. Only complaint is that it came with crappy zip ties that broke when trying to tie-down the flap. Good thing I had my own.

Had to put front one on top of fork mount, kept getting mud stuck underneath. Not much clearence on a 4.8 inch tire.

Fenders are made of durable material, but the zip ties that came with them for mounting are cheap and easily broke .

My husband asked for these for Christmas and it was exactly what he wanted and expected.

Really good product forms good. But the zip ties suppled are no good tighten then down an they break.
