PRIMECOM Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger (220V / 240Volt, 16Amp) Portable EVSE Smart Electric Car Charger, 30', 40', and 50 Feet Lengths (NEMA L6-30P, 35 Feet)

This charger has worked well since 2020 when we first purchased it. We used it almost daily with no issues until this week when our car stopped ‘seeing’ the charger. We called the Primecom customer service number, on a Sunday no less, and David answered and got us back up and running within fifteen minutes with some quick troubleshooting. Good product with customer service to back it up.

I needed a product with a longer cord for charging at work. There's an outlet on my building that was a little too far away with the Ford supplied charger. I bought this to test it out and it works great. Although the circuit is a Nema 14-50, it only charges at 16amps. Wish it would charge at 24 or 32 amps but at 16 amps I don't have to worry about the cord overheating. Granted it is winter so we'll have to check in the summer time when the temperature is warm up

I bought this charger about a year and half ago. Worked flawless until now. I have to wiggle the plug to get it to charge sometimes. And sometimes it wont charges at all. I know its not my car i have another charger i leave at home and it works every time i plug it in. I reached out the the company today we will see what they say. Out of warranty of course. But we’ll see

Bought my first EV (Hyundai Ioniq 5). Needed a charger that would work on my unused dryer outlet. The cost to have a new line ran up to the front of the garage was way too much after buying the car. The extra length allows me to plug it into the back of the garage, run it through the garage, and even enough too not have to back into the driveway. It charges the car at a nice and safe rate and with my Solar & battery, I can charge the car for free: USING THE SUN (last picture). Compared to other units it seems expensive but the cost of having an electrician do a ton of work + moving shelving units along the wall…. Then having to spend roughly the same amount on a similar unit made this price a little better.Literally the only Con I have is the way it was wrapped took effort to untangle. Made me feel like that scene from Christmas Vacation where he hands the son the ball of Xmas light and says “hmm but of a tangle here”

I've had it for two years and it charged by BMW X5 in about 90 minutes, but had problems with water intrusion during heavy rainfall. There were times where I could not see the screen due to the vapor inside the unit. It eventually died.... good while it lasted, but do not place where it can get wet.

My EV came with a charger but it kept tripping my breakers. I had the electrician check my set up twice and they reassured me that the circuit breaker etc was rated to handle a 50 amp 240V charger.I bought this one for the price and fact that I didnt need to wire it in.I bought the wrong plug adapter - I have a 14-50 receptacle and got a 10-30 plug. I called the company and they sent an exchange in 2 days - with a return envelope for the one I couldn’t use. They paid for shipping. My mistake and they happily took care of me FOR FREE. Switched plugs out in 30 seconds and was good to go. Car has been charging just fine ever since.ChRge cable length is plenty long.

I didn't want to hire an electrician and this charger is the perfect solution. I have a gas dryer and wasn't using the 220 outlet but it's more than the standard 20' away. This 50' cord allows me to plug it in with enough length to reach the vehicle connection. I bought a wall hose bracket to hang the cord when not in use. Remember to not keep it coiled when plugged into the vehicle. From my initial tests this new charger fills the battery in a quarter of the amount of time as the factory charger. Highly recommend!

This charger fit my 2023 PHEV perfectly. The length is very nice since we have other vehicles in our driveway.The plug cover/cap is great for when we have rain or snow, I really appreciate having it. The charger that came with my car didn’t have that feature.Haven’t had a problem since we have owned it. It always begins charging my vehicle without any difficulties. No problems with it whatsoever.

Product description doesn't mention that the cable includes a poorly made adapter at the end. So this makes a major point of failure and also means that a non-water tight high voltage connection is basically laying on the ground when the charger is not being used.The rest of the system is really excellent and seems waterproof, but they really need to fit the proper plug on the end, as ordered... rather than using a plug adapter.

Bought it before delivery of my Rav4 Prime. Never even used the 120V system that came with car. Tracks how many KWH per charge so it is easy to calculate cost.
