This cable can be used with Android devices that don't supply power to the micro USB port, but would otherwise be OTG capable. The USB A male connector (pictured left) can be connected to a USB power source, thereby supplying power USB female connector (pictured center). The cable has the following connectors: USB Micro (smartphones / tablets), USB A Female (thumb drives, etc.), USB A Male (for power supply).

Haven't used it as much as I thought I would have.
Haven't used it much since contrary to the "Power" in the name, I am not able to charge the phone while using it.I have found that I haven't used it much as I bought a new phone that uses a regular USB cable for copying back and forth from phone / computer.

Also great for tablets with just one USB port, like Toshiba Encore
This, a plethora of USB to microUSB adapters, and the Fosmon USB 2.0 Charging Switch for Cellphones and Tablets, allow me to charge my Windows tablet while being connected to a 24" monitor, and a mouse and keyboard through a USB hub. With a few more adapters, I'll also be able to charge while connected to the Atrix lapdock, for a dual screen laptop setup.

It works like is supposed to work... It gives USB to cellphones like Nexus 4 that need an external power supply for USB

Still a good choice.
Needed a 2.5 amp usb supply for the DVD burner, and found it easier to use a 3.0 hub instead. Still a good choice.

Good product, but caution to Google (ASUS) Nexus 7 tablet owners
Works as advertised for my Samsung Galaxy S3 cellphone. Needs additional software to work with a Google (ASUS) Nexus 7 tablet (2013), however. That is the fault of Google-ASUS, not the cable.

Works well, but won't charge the phone.
I would have loved to be able to charge my phone as well, but it's not wired for that.
