Great advice
I bought this book for my 10 year old since he’s always looking for ways to make money. He’s got that driven mindset already at a young age. This book has help educate him on what it means to be an entrepreneur, given him some ideas he can get started on now, and it fuels the fire for more.Beware though parents, you will have to devote time to assisting in fulfilling some of these endeavors. We’ve done the Lemonade stand, a good ol’ classic, but there’s a couple online ideas as well. Regardless, it’s a good educational tool for what it take to be an entrepreneur.

I’ve been looking for a book like this to inspire a young girl
I’ve been looking for a book like this to inspire a young girl to keep focused on her school and productive activities. Since she doesn’t show interest in a typical career path, I thought that getting her thinking about becoming an entrepreneur focused on her interests might be a great idea to get her focused on school. This book seems to be great for that. I wish I had a book like this when I was her age.

Game Changer for Kids Craving More
Kid Start Up is informative, easy to follow and packed with useful info that even adult entrepreneurs can utilize (leveraging social media, the right way to build a site, how to make an effective flyer etc). The book has a really conversational tone, so kids can actually get through it without dozing off, but the lessons they convey are pretty prophetic for all of us. Here are some examples:1. Hustle. Stop expecting hand outs. Do the work.2. Just start. Stop with the 200 page business plans. Get your hands dirty and dive in.3. Be obsessed with your goals. Casually wanting something isn't enough.Honestly, a lot of adults I know need to be slapped over the head with this book. Our kids loved it too and have plans to launch their next business.
