Works great. Use bedsheet to contain mess.
So much fun! I learned this bedsheet trick from an Instagram mom. So great for containing all the beads when playing inside. I’ve never had any escape! We also got these scissor scoops from amazon. The container from target. My only critique would be quite a few of the white water beads were brittle even though I added a on of water. (used all the beads and filled the container almost hallway.) other than that definitely would purchase again!

Awesome product!
All the products come wrapped up together in a clear small cellophane bag, at first you think that what you just ordered is cheap & not at all what you thought you were getting...HOWEVER this is not the case! This is awesome! I made a sensory bin for my daughter. Used a bin from the dollar store, I doubled the “recipe”.(Directions are not included. You can find the directions on the Amazon page for the product under description.) The beads stayed in water for about 10hrs. before we played with them. In the end I felt I had too much water, so I just took some out with a cup.

5hrs strait.
My son is 4yrs old and has autism, it's very hard to find sensory toys and games he likes. However he's all about fish and water so I decided to give it a go. They are pretty darn amazing. This kid has been content for 5 hours! You have any idea how hard it is to get him to do anything for 5 hours???For 15 bucks its a good deal I think you'd be better off just getting the beads and buying toys separately at the dollar store but these are great. The big white ones break easy but it doesn't stop the fun a few hours soak to get to full size but they're big enough to play with in about 30min- 1hr in water so they grow as you go.Deffinately a gift for the kid who's parents you hate or a great sensory toy for waterdays when it's 100+ degrees outside like it has been every day here but get a bigger batch of beads for the same price then get the toys it's the same price and you'll get more.

A wonderful sensory adventure fishing for sea life!
I found this to be a wonderful tactile experience for my grandchildren. They were amazed to see how big they got from such tiny little beads.I call this the fishing game and they had fun trying to find the sea life.Myself and my children also spent hours with our children playing in it.I found if you put it into a deep tub it makes it less likely that the beads escape. An excellent experience to spend time with your children exploring their senses.I would definitely recommend this product and I gave it five stars because it certainly deserved it.As a side note they only get as big as the amount of water you add.Addendum: I attempted to dry them out by laying them on towels. It took three towels but the water did not absorb well. I dried the towels several times after removing the balls. Finally I just left them late for several weeks and they began to get smaller. When it was time to remove them they stuck to the towel and I had to brush them off. I would certainly recommend storing them hydrated as opposed to trying to dehydrate them.Fun adventure for all.

Unsafe. Get a different brand
This item is for toddlers. The beads are extraordinarily tiny. It did not come with any directions so I had to ask a friend how to do it. You put them in a water table overnight and they grow. But my toddlers who are two year old twins were easily able to squish them which was not good because toddlers to like to put things in their mouth. My friend told me her older children were not even able to squish her’s. So I would suggest using a different brand.

Kids LOVE, but not what I expected upon ordering
Great sensory project for my two 5 year old boys. It kept their interest for days and they especially loved the sea creatures that came with. Two downsides; the water beads took around 5 hours to swell and were not nearly as large as what's pictured in the advertisement. I actually left the beads in a bucket of sterile water for 48 hours after our project, and still they did not grow past 1/4 the size of the beads in these pictures. Literally. They were barely able to conceal all of the plastic creatures. Nevertheless, my children adored them and are already begging for more. I'm hoping that this was just a bad batch, and they were so well priced that I'm willing to give this brand one more shot.

Pros and cons
Overall, loved it. Absolutely perfect for what I needed. The animals are just a tad sharp (,to be expected, it's plastic) and the white beads pretty much just crumbled and became a mess in the mix. Maybe a bad batch?

So much fun!
Such a great buy! My 3 yr old has been entrained for hours. They expanded much quicker than I expected. I order a little set of tools to go with it and she's having a blast.
