UPDATE: It does have volume control & mute buttons...They are on the side of the small remote, & Not on top with all the rest....So the 3 stars are now updated to 5 🤗👍.Works!!! Just installed batteries, point, & it instantly works....Only downside is: it has NO volume control buttons. The ones that you would assume "would" work for volume control - actually controls "another" part of TV's function. #WhatABummerHowever, for its price- I will use until I search for a remote that "does" control that particular function, because tired of constantly have to use the downloaded app on my android to operate TV.😤😥😩

I didn't realize roku remotes had issues with not working. The remote for our roku tv stopped working after about a year and a half. So I got this and it worked perfectly. Hopefully I wont have to replace it again soon. I actually think this is more sturdy than the one the tv came with. I like the little remote holder it comes with, but the tv is in the kids play room and I doubt they will ever remember to put it there when they are done watching the tv, but it's still nice to have.

My roku is working but unusable because I don't have a remote that works. I tried buying this replacement remote, but there's no way to pair it and my roku doesn't accept signals from it.

Bought this as a replacement remote for our TCL Roku TV. It worked perfectly once the batteries are in (2x AAA batteries not included). There's no pairing needed since it's IR based. The plastic remote holder is a nice accessory. All in all, works as intended and it feels and looks virtually identical to the original remote that came with the TV.

This is my second remote Roku. I was given my son's TCL and thought the roku could do everything I needed. However I needed a remote specific to my TCL TV and a Roku rolled into one. So picture Vanna White, my hands are now going over the shape of this little remote! Yes, I could set up my TV and navigate through the channels as well.

The original remote had to be pointed perpendicular to the center of the TV in order to use. The replacement does not need this which is a refreshing relief. The original must be detective. I purchased this because my dog's favorite things are dirt and TV remotes... I am glad I replaced the original with something that works.Make sure you get the one that works with your system.

The roku remote is your typical roku remote that comes with your tv or roku. The holder is of a nice quality and sticks really well. It is easy to get the remote in and out even with old arthritic fingers. No more hunting for where my remote got to.

I managed to lose my remote in a small living room. Have even moved all the furniture - it just disappeared. I was using the app on my phone, but that's not always convenient. This replacement remote has worked great, have had no issues with it at all.
