This was a replacement for a cheaper one I'd gotten first. It serves as a stark reminder that you get what you pay for and the Rhino USA model is worth every penny. I've put this thing through quite an array of punishment and it's still working flawlessly. I'd highly recommend it for your metal detecting bag!

I bought this for my wife to use on our rock hounding trips. It’s great!! It’s compact and has a case. I like that it has the added pick on the opposite side of the shovel head, which is perfect for picking or scooping. It is solidly built and doesn’t feel like it’ll break very easily. All that at a great price!!

I'm a container gardener. This shovel replaces one that the handle rotted. Mostly used in the spring getting my planters ready, then in the fall taking them down. The rest of the time if resides in my car emergency kit. Its well-made, easy to use and very easy to store.

I bought this before going on a 3 day camping trip, as an affordable and versatile shovel for my survival kit. I didn’t get the chance to use it but played around with it before going camping and it seemed versatile and sharp enough to get the job done. It fit perfectly in my survival bag without taking up much room due to its compact size. However, when it arrived, it was covered in white dog fur which made me wonder where it came from and was annoying to see on a brand new product. I will edit this review once I use it to let you know how well it works.

First. This is a great little product. I have to admit I was surprised by the spade size, but so glad I purchased this. It is a bit heavy for backpacking, but would work. All the tools part of the product work great, and the handle is strong enough it could be used in self defense if that sort of thing came up.
