I almost bought another style, B07NKJFFWP, but I'm so glad I didn't. Not only is this is sturdy but it's also dual purpose. Since I have a dog I was afraid that he might simply tip the other one over when he gets excited. I didn't want to spend a fortune on the commercial one. Nor only that, I didn't like the style for my porch. Then I came across this one which not only acts as an ashtray but can also be used as a trash can for normal trash. The other thing I also like about it is that when you're done smoking a cigarette, you can push the button down and it opens to allow the butt and ashes into the bottom out of the wind. Mine arrived in perfect condition without any dents or other damage that can occur during shipping. It's a nice size without being overly intrusive. I sounds odd to say but it's a classic design that won't interfere if you decide to change your porch furnishings or color schemes. I'm very pleased with my purchase. This would be great if you only smoke outside or have an occasional guest who does. They'll know you were considerate and accepting enough to provide them with a "Smoking Area".

I like the look and quality but the ashtray lid gets stuck and almost impossible to remove

There is no way to put a trash bag in the base. The top, while functional, rusts very easily. It is also so thin that the little tabs bend causing it to come apart.

I was buying this for my business and though it was a little bit bigger. It gets the job done but it’s a tad bit small.

The product arrived nicely packaged, and it works well. It looks nice and is a good size for sitting in a chair and using the ash tray. They are lightweight so we did put something heavy on the bottom to keep it from falling over on those windy days. The sellers are very kind and they actually reached out to me about the ash trays being lighter than I expected and gave me great customer service! I've had no issues with these ash trays and we use them everyday and I do believe they are worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. I Love it! It’s exactly as described. It’s perfect for what we wanted. It’s short and skinny so I don’t recommend using the hole/bottom of it as a trash can, it’s to small to put trash in. I used the clear bag that it came in and put that inside, we don’t use the hole, we turn it around so people can’t see the hole and try to put garbage in it, we use the clear bag only for the cigarette butts when it the ash tray gets full, then we take off the top and dump the butts into the clear bag. It’s the perfect size for that and that is exactly what we wanted. It will take a while before the clear bags gets filled and needs to be changed (probably 2-3 months) before having to change it! We are very happy and satisfied with it, we are probably going to purchase this same exact one for our back porch! I hate cigarette butts being on my lawn or driveway and this inside/outside ash tray put a stop to that so yes I’m very happy!

The box was crushed open. The round tube can was in was stuck behind the crushed box by the box tape. The can bottom was bent and will not stand alone. The dump trap is bent with one side up one down. Not worth the money paid. Certainly not stable. Do not buy if you expect it to work as described. I am not a smoker. I bought it so cigarettes butts were not flipped into my yard by smokers living in my house.

Never even knew that ashtrays like this existed for the home but I'm sure glad I can across this item on Amazon😀 I have a bad habit of trying to NEVER allow more than 2 butts in my ashtray (anything more gives me anxiety😯 and I start to fear starting a🏡🔥 because my butts didn't go out); but this ashtray makes the dumping sooooo convenient since the container is fairly large to not have to empty too often and the actual tray can simply be turned and dumped into the receptacle portion.It is also very stylish, the silver adds a nice decor but the unit is actually Quite durable!! My Pitt Bull accidentally ran into it(😂😂😂) and knocked it over; the unit didn't suffer not ONE dent not scratch!I'd highly recommend this item😊
