I have a Barbour jacket with a seriously damaged tartan lining. The bottom part showing not just wear but rather big holes! This was due to the top of my legs chafing when cycling. I tried stitching but the result was underwhelming to say the least. So I thought to give this a try. I cut the rather large (28x20cm) MastaPlasta patch in two long pieces which I applied to either side of the liner and problem solved! It is extremely sticky so I don't think it will come off. The adhesive side seems reinforced so it will not (hopefully) wear down easily. I got the Brown Suede which is a perfect match (it is a man made material but I don't care because it does not go on real leather). Overall very impressed with the result and how easily it was accomplished. 4 stars instead of 5 only because ~£15 for an A4 sheet seems very expensive to me.

I had a pair of expensive suede boots that split up the front and I didn’t want to throw them away I saw this product and thought I’d give it a go and now my boots look brand new! the patch was easy to cut to shape and the adhesive is strong I’ve been out in the rain and they have stayed stuck on I’m really really pleased

Didn’t work. Came unstuck straight away.

Tried to patch a rip in my suede couch with adhesive strips and glue which attracted the dogs attention who subsequently scratched the strips back out and made the rips bigger. Bought the XL patch and although it’s not a colour match it’s covered the affected area and has held up against the dog trying to scratch it out too. It is a little expensive but worth it for larger areas. Easy to stick and use and feels soft (unlike the earlier glue strip repair). Have now bought another for the other side of the couch and will be keeping it on my wish list for any future repairs.

I used it to mend my favourite slippers - to replace the worn and torn soles - and it worked magic! Very adhesive, sticks really well. I've been wearing my newly-fixed slippers for a month now, and the soles are as good as new. Better than new!

Bought a a temporary fix for feather releasing holes in our aging sofa. The side one is thinner and more supple than the darker brown leather one we had before. It sticks better and doesn’t seem to fray as much at the cut edges. Should hold out until we get around to reupholstering sometime soon.
