SaniteModar Thermostatic shower systems 12 inch, polished chrome

We are rehabbing a (someday, soon, to be) beautiful old house I was blessed to inherit. Although the house itself is amazing, there is a lot of "work", a lot of "renovations" that were done by my relatives along the way which really feel like I should take a picture to document, like its destroying evidence to tear it down without calling the police first. One of these was the outdoor shower, right right riiiiiiiight outside the back door. As in... you come out the back door, step back, close it, take two steps forward, turn on the shower and do what comes instinctually. The only other thing you need to know about this shower is that it not only had like a green piece of plastic aluminum siding for a roof, said roof had what looks like a halogen shop light in the ceiling, the power source for which was an orange extension cord, ran through a hole drilled thru the window.So you know to hear my husband tell it now, anything gnarly the kids do is automatically because of my side of the family, smh.Because there was ivy growing on the walls of the house and on top of the "roof", that was one of the first things he and his friends, brothers, father, etc had to take care of. They demolished what NYC realtors would describe as "an Old World half-shower with captivating rustic charm and a sparrow's view of Highland Park" first before clearing the ivy and for a long minute there was nothing there. My husband fixed up the small bathroom in the basement and we used that... until last month. A regular little bathroom indoors was too much like right so mysteriously the toilet started flooding with brown water which vexes my husband to no end and which he believes is more dangerous than eating bowl of lead paint. After great deliberation, they decided the pipes were still good and rebuilt the small bathroom enclosed in like a greenhouse ten feet away from the house. This beautiful stylish and modern, beautiful chrome shower is now in the outdoor shower and it looks amazing!I will hopefully someday remember to update this review with pics or a video but for now, you just have to visualize it. The shower itself looks great, the installation seemed simple enough but I 100% recommend for the gushing rainfall effect. The stream can be varied from soft and gentle to a very intense that really feels like a small waterfall hitting you. I absolutely love bathing under this showerhead and I totally give it five stars!
