Lloytron L2223C - Polished Touch Lamp in Brass

Ordered one of these very attractive pink porcelain touch lights from a different seller and had to send it back as it was so badly made it could not be assembled then found another seller only to be told a week later that it was no longer available after several weeks I tried another search and The Guernsey lighting ltd came up as a seller ( via Amazon ) of these lamps and as I already had one I required a another for a matching pair.I duly ordered one and what a great service and the lamp was perfect and assembled with ease due to their great service I have ordered a floor lamp

I am very disappointed with this lamp as it started smelling of rubber. I went to turn the lamp of and it went off in a bang. I have not had the lamp very long and I cannot afford another one. Please could you let me know what to do. Kind regards Ms Lee Barratt Please could you advice me regarding my lamp.I have only had the lamp for a few weeks and didnt expect the lamp to stop working. I am 65 years old and I can't find the problem with it..All I know is it sparked a d I haven't the lamp at all so please could you refund my moneu otherwise it means I want be shopping at Amazon any more nor will my friends.

Where do i start? The product itself looks nice when it's put together. But, that's where the problem is. It's so fiddly to put together and it took me and my wife about an hour to do, and we're not incompetent. The screws and the little plastic pieces don't fit together right (you'll know what i mean when you get it) and i actually had to cut some of the plastic bits smaller so that the screws could thread through. Not something i should have to do on a new item, but i guess you get what you pay for. Like i said, it looks nice when it's done but if you're short of patience or generally irritable, stay away from it. Nice lamp but disappointed with the effort. You get what you pay for here.

It takes a long time to set up the shade of this lamp - but if you buy more than one the next one gets easier but still very fiddly - you need good eyesight and small fingers!This is a budget touch lamp which looks as if it costs more when it is assembled. You get essentially what you pay for - a functional and decorative touch lamp at a low price but with some rather flimsy parts and takes a while to put together.

The lamp was received promptly but it was difficult and time consuming to put together. All the various glass panels have to be fixed in to the rather flimsy frame and are only held in place by two weak clips at the bottom and a nut and bolt fitting at the top fastening to another flimsy spur piece with a slit down the middle to take the bolt. Although it is now together the panels still move a bit if you are not careful. The whole thing is held on to the base with a screw which you can see.I realise that this is not an expensive lamp but the one it replaced was slightly cheaper and the lamp shade was all in one piece.It appeared well packed but one of the glass panels has a chip on it which I didn't find until I finally got the shade put together and I couldn't cope with the hassle of taking it all to bits and returning it.The lamp appears to work alright but I definitely would not recommend it.

the lamp required a small amount of assembly and the shade was a bit fiddley. but I have small fingers and I manage to assemble the lamp with relative ease.the lamp itself is very good quality and well worth the money.this will grace our hall table for many years to come.also, if there are any problems, the seller responds very fast to messages and emails and is polite and helpful.

Great bedside lamp and so easy to put on. No struggling to find the switch in the dark. I rate this amp very highy.
