Worth the cost! This is a great purchase! It is very quite, sleek design and provides a great amount of heat/cool output. Quality is great and very easy to assemble!

So I was hesitant to purchase this heater/fan initially because of the high price tag but I will say that now that we have it in the house we are absolutely loving it. It is ideally suited for small spaces so we use it to keep our daughters’ bedroom warm during colder months. It does this job exceptionally well- the room stays perfectly comfortable without fear of overheating the girls due to the built in thermostat and the ability to adjust the fan power at a comfortably low setting. This is true for the cooling fan as well. Other fans we’ve used are loud and overpowering and need to be placed in front of a well ventilated area to push cold air out. The intensity of the fans make it too cold to keep on all night. Not so with this fan - again somehow this fan manages to have just the perfect settings so you can adjust it to be cool enough but not overpowering. And we can stick it in front of a wall and it still manages to push cold air out. It is also very safe because unlike other space heaters it does not get hot so you don’t have to worry about little ones burning themselves if they touch it. The things to consider about this unit are the following : it is not well suited for larger spaces like a large open living room- while it will heat the space it will not do it sufficiently enough to feel toasty warm like a larger unit would. It also can not be used as an air conditioning unit for larger spaces - the fan is very effective and does a good job of cooling you in a small space but it does not have a high intensity cooling system like AC units do. Essentially if you have a small space that you need to heat and cool comfortably then this will work well for you. I would say it is best used to heat or cool a child’s room because it is safe, quiet and not overly intense so you never have to worry that your child is too hot or too cold at night while they sleep. That being said as much as we love the unit (and it is really an exceptionally well made and high quality product) we did get it on sale and I’m not sure that we would have bought it at full price, as it is quite expensive for just being a simple fan and heater.

Although these are pricey, they are worth every dollar! I love how this one doubles as a heater and a fan so it’s a 2 in 1 device. It’s a perfect size for any area, and is not loud at all! It also comes with a remote to control the setting to meet your desired needs!

I really wanted to love this fan. I love the idea of hot&cool, and the air multiplier technology all in one unit. This was my first and likely last experience with a Dyson product.Unfortunately, as a few others have pointed out (some have uploaded video), my unit is also defective out of the box. The fan has an obnoxious clicking noise when oscillating. As much as I'd like to look past it, this fan was going to be for my bedroom and I'm a light sleeper. This is unacceptable, especially for a ~$400 fan?Also, the fan construction feels very cheap, it's almost entirely plastic. And it's much smaller than you'd expect from the pictures.Its not even worth trying to deal with Dyson customer service to have the clicking issue fixed. You can read plenty of horror stories online about how that experience went for others. I'll be returning this.

I’m really happy with my heater and fan! It works exactly as advertised—blowing cold air in the summer and keeping the space warm during the cooler months. The temperature control is spot on, and it heats or cools a room efficiently.The only downside is that it’s a little loud. When it’s on, it can be hard to hear the TV or have conversations in the same room, but I find that the performance makes it worth it.Setup was super easy, and it’s very sleek and modern looking. Overall, I’m very satisfied with its performance and would recommend it for anyone needing both a fan and heater in one. Just be aware that it can be a bit noisy!

The media could not be loaded. We love this heating and cooling fan! It works really well and big spaces. We turned the heat on in the winter to make sure the babies room does not get too cold and it regulates the temperature based off of what you set it at. It oscillates only if the button is pressed, and the only downfall is that it only works by remote.

We are loving this! We are using the heater to heat a cool section of our house and it is working very well. It is quiet (but not silent). The oscillating feature seems to really spread the heat around. It's nice to be able to set the temp and it will turn on and off on its own. I had debated on one for years and saw this one sale and finally got one. I am so glad I did and wish I had done it sooner! My mom and aunt were very impressed by it also and found it to be warmer and have a father hear range than the edenpure they use.
