Beautiful
This knife is extremely sharp, I shaved hairs off my arm with this knife straight out of the box. Looks great, cuts perfectly…. Easily my favorite knife.

It's better than I expected!
I love this knife. The handle is super high quality, as well as the high carbon steel blade.Comfortable to use and the hole in it allows you to use/try different techniques 5/5. Just a good knife 😀

Very good knife straight out of the box
The media could not be loaded. I open the box and unpacked the knife. This knife does not come with a sheath as others do. First reaction is that it has a nice heft to it. Not too heavy, but heavy enough that you feel confident in it's weight working with you. Then I washed it. Not being used to the pebbled portion, I had to wonder about getting clean after using on chicken, but that is for another day.The first thing I used it on was the onion in the video.. as I said earlier, the heft is something I'm glad that I'm going to have to get used to.. don't beat me up on my knife skills, I'm just being very careful. It's a new knife after all. It made short work of the onion with minimal effort on my part. I was more than happy with it.The edge is very nice, but I'll take it to my professional sharpener, I can't properly sharpen a knife if my life depended on it, and see what he says and does. (Edit) My professional said that it was the best out of the box he's seen and it didn't need sharpeningThis knife company was recommended to me by an acquaintance who likes to cook as much as I do. For the cost, I'm more than happy with it as it is.

You get what you paid for
For the price and material's used, this is a lot of knife for sub forty bucks. However that comes with a few creature comforts and quality control issues.Came razor sharp out of the package, promising but time will tell if it requires more maintenance. The handle is polished wood, but is not treated in any way to deal with moisture. The quality control on the scales sizing and placement is what you paid for. There are gaps between the scales and the tang that light can be seen through near the finger choil and end pin.Every exposed section of the tang on the handle is not flush with the scales, but raised slightly with a harsh edge of half, to one millimeter all around the handle. You can get a finger nail to catch on it, so if you want this knife as a work horse, you may need to sand it down so you don't catch palm skin on the handle.Every non-blade edge is not chamfered, including the large finger choil. If you plan to use the choil for stability, highly recommend you use a fine grit sand paper to take off the sharp edge. It's a interesting knife, but it will take some work to make it useable long term. If you don't feel like putting in the time for a bit of refinement, there are plenty of other knives that have much better quality control for nearly the same price.
