Q: Will these clips work on tubular hangers if not what type of hangers you can use to make it work? Will they hold denim pants securely?

These should work on pretty much any hanger. It’s been my experience the thicker the fabric or thicker the hanger the more effectively the clip actually works.

Q: Can these be used to hold curtain panels together?

I would say that would depend on the thickness of the rod, the weight of the panels and all that being said. You would have to fold a portion over the rod like hanging on a clothes line.

Q: How much will the clip open? How wide of an item can they fit on? Thank you.

I use them to keep pants from coming off hanger. I am not familiar with any other usage.
