Perfect for My Beginners Mechanics Course!
I bought the Portwest S999 overalls for a beginners mechanics course, and they’ve been absolutely perfect. The fit is roomy without being baggy, which makes it easy to move around, crouch, and work under cars without feeling restricted. The fabric feels durable and stands up well to grease and dirt—plus, it washes easily, which is a bonus. There are plenty of handy pockets for tools and small parts, and the stud front makes it quick to get on and off. I’m new to this kind of work, but these overalls made me feel properly kitted out from day one.Highly recommended for anyone starting out in mechanics or looking for solid, affordable workwear.

Practical, comfortable.
Comfortable, practical everyday cotton overall. For dirt etc protection, not fireproof or special heavy duty, but good for most ordinary uses. A bit long in the leg for me, but easily altered. Reasonably priced.

Portwest S999 Men's Polycotton Coverall – Reliable, Tough, and No-Nonsense
The Portwest S999 Coverall is a solid choice for anyone needing durable, comfortable workwear. Made from polycotton, iIn my opinion it’s tough enough for hard work. I've used it at least once a week in my workshop (restoring furniture and cutting wood etc.), for a few months now.Strong Material – Holds up well to dirt, grease, and fairly regular washing.Comfortable Fit – Not too tight, with room to move and work (I'm 3XL).Plenty of Pockets – Handy for carrying tools, gloves, or screws etc.Good Value – Affordable without feeling cheap. The Downside, is it is not at all aterproof – Great for general work, but not ideal in outside in rain. But I would not expect a pair of overalls at this price to be.So in my final summing up...A dependable, no-fuss overall that gets the job done. Whether you're in a workshop, garage, or on-site, it offers comfort, durability, and practicality at a fair price.

Good for the money.
For my use case this one is good enough. I use it when working on my car. Considering the price it's good. I'm 33inch waist, 42,5 inch chest and 50 inch shoulders so obviously it's not perfect fit for me as it's loose in waist and not so loose in shoulders but it's good enough when I use it once or twice a month for 2-3hrs each time. If you have freaky silhouette like me and you have to work all day in such outfit spend more money and search for better fit. So far no ripped stiches or other fails.

Tall guys, I'm 6'4"
My measurements:Height 194cm 6'4"Span fingertip to fingertip 204cmInside leg 91.5cm 36" Weight 92kgChest 42"Waist 38"I wanted a boiler suit for a Michael Myers Halloween costume, and being well above average height I knew I'd have to try a few to find one that fits. The three I tried were: Portwest S999NATXL size XL Tall. Body fits ok, sleeves slightly short but wearable, leg length actually a little long. Thin material, poppers on the front, feels and looks cheap, although this is reflected in the price. Blue Castle 366/BK sizes 46, 48 and 50. Body was too short on the 46 could not even get it on. 48 was too short in the body and sleeves, and the width of the body was huge - it totally drowned me. This boiler suit was much much better quality than the Portwest one and was slightly cheaper as well. More pockets, thicker fabric, zip on the front as opposed to poppers. I wish this had fitted me because the quality for the price was excellent.Dickies WD4839 size 48 long leg. Body fits really well, can wear a couple of thin layers underneath if required. Reaching overhead does bring the crotch into my groin, but this was the same on the Portwest. Mobility is otherwise very good. Quality was superb, as it should be for the price, Sleeves exactly the right length. Legs could do with being maybe an inch longer for my preference but they are very wearable. The body shape flattered me more than the others as well, it seems to be cut to hide my (very slight) belly. None of these were perfect, but between the two wearable ones for my bodytype (Portwest and Dickies), despite being considerably more expensive (£28 vs £19), I much preferred the Dickies. If you're a few inches shorter than me/have a short torso and are of larger build then definitely try out the Blue Castle coveralls. If you're my height then it depends on whether you want slightly longer legs/shorter arms/cheaper price (Portwest) or longer arms/shorter legs/higher quality (Dickies).

Great quality and exceptional value
Great value for money, well exceptional really. The material is robust and the fit is , for me, true to size.

snug on the family jewels
Sizing is a bit snug on the family jewels when sitting and standing.Im 6ft with 38" chest 36" waist with 31" inseam for trousers and i ordered the medium. The legs and arms are plenty long enough and quite baggy so you can wear something warm underneath. When standing or sitting the crotch is really tight and uncomfortable, but it seems there is no better sizing available with this model, you get a taller back and legs but that's it, i've used it as i needed it and i'll keep it but shall have to take off the top half to sit down or stand in as it's really tight on the family jewels.the pockets are nice, it doesnt weight a lot at all and it survived with no damage with me being under my car on ramps for a few hours earlier.4/5 as crotch is rather tight.

Very decent for what I paid for it
Purchased the XS in red. A little tight around the waist but otherwise a good fit. Quality material, feels very durable. I was worried the dye would run in the wash but my other items of clothing didn’t come out bleeding red.
