Best pillow ever invented.
Possibly the best pillow ever invented. I had the same pillow when it first came out about 9years ago (it's a guess) and after 5 years and me being awkward i burst it. So I then spent approx £400+ on various pillows for severe neck pain, insomnia and migraines. Now it doesn't 'cure' any of these but it sure does makes things less uncomfortable. It's super supportive and extremely comfortable. It's not hard like some pillows that make you hear your own heart beat. It's not super soft that your head hits the mattress through it. It moulds to your shape. You can push your shoulder into it and it'll form a support around your neck and scalp. If you fill it correctly you won't hear the slushy noise when your lying on it but if you physically move it by hand you'll hear water so don't be alarmed. It recommend 4-5 litres of water for firm and i actually went above this, I'd guess 6 litres in mine and that's perfect for me.I can't recommend this pillow enough. One of the pillows I previously purchased was £120 so this was a bargain.

Took a punt and I'm glad I did!
IN BRIEF:- My neck and shoulder pain have gone- It's good quality and value for the price- Incredibly comfortable once you get used to the slight water motion- Take care to squeeze all the air out and tighten the stopper with the provided tool- Don't make the same dumb mistake I did at first - the stopper side goes on the underside, the pillow just lies much better that way and won't bunch under your neck.***************Having been suffering from neck and shoulder pain for quite some time I felt I should probably try a new pillow to see if it helps, I was just wary of buying one too firm or too soft. When I saw this one recommended for neck pain and the fact it can be adjusted to suit by adding more water for a firmer pillow I decided to take a chance on it.Filling it is fairly simple. I gradually added more water till it suited me. If you've ever squeezed the air out of a hot water bottle then you have to do the same thing with this. It's made a little trickier by the bulk of the pillow, but for most this won't be a difficult task. Some may need a hand due to the weight of it when full.I found it VERY odd to sleep on for about a fortnight or so. You do feel a bit of wave motion when you move through the night, but I did get used to it and I now find the motion quite pleasant. One thing I didn't realise is there's a top side and a bottom side. As I was nervous about it leaking or bursting at first I had it with the stopper on the top side. I found this made the pillow slope and wedge under my neck quite uncomfortably. Once I realised it actually lies much, much better the other way with the stopper underneath (and there's a nice plump pillowy bit on top) - the difference was like night and day! It seems so obvious now and a really stupid mistake, but I suspect I'm not the only person to have done this. I don't mind sharing my dumb error if it helps someone else have a better night's sleep.I've had it for over a month now and my neck and shoulder pain has now completely gone! This was pain that I'd had continuously for several months so I feel I can safely say it's entirely down to the change of pillow as nothing else had been helping. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm having the absolutely best nights sleep in my life (there are so many other factors), but it has undoubtedly improved my comfort and I no longer wake in agony. I gather it hasn't helped everyone with pain issues, but I felt it was worth trying it anyway and I'm glad I did.I saw a review saying it was cheap quality, but I couldn't disagree more. Of course, it's not a £100 top of the range orthopaedic pillow, but it's far from cheap quality - and I've had more than my fair share of cheap (like Wilko/Poundstretcher cheap) pillows over the years! It's very good value for the price imo.

This sounds dramatic… but life changing!
I’ve had such a problem with pillows in the past. I move a lot in my sleep, push myself up until my head is against the wall and often sleep on my stomach (when I know I shouldn’t). Pillows have ALWAYS caused me issues. Neck pain, headaches, the whole lot. Until I finally said enough was enough two weeks ago when I woke up with such bad neck pain I had to call off sick from work because I felt so ill. IN COMES THE WATER PILLOW! And when I say this has been the best 10 day sleeps of my life! The pillow doesn’t move at all which means I stay in it. It took a night or two of getting used to (because I had resorted to sleeping on a squishmellow before) but 10 days in and it’s fabulous. No neck pain, deeper sleeps, feel far more rested 🙏🙏 I called for help and the water pillow answered!

Improved my sleep!
Bought out of desperation as suffering from general poor quality of sleep and frequent waking. My quality of sleep has definitely improved. Still wake up but not as often. Only draw back is I can’t dress the bed as it won’t stand on its side due to its weight but still worth it.

Solved neck pain but....
This is a great pillow if you wake up in the morning with a crick in your neck like I used to. It truly solved the problem for me.However, unfortunately with winter drawing in I have discovered a downfall which has caused me to set it aside and look for an alternative solution - it is cold! The water in the base of the pillow really gives me a chill despite the padded part of the pillow preventing you from being in contact with the water "pouch".This is mainly a problem on the shoulder and was solved initially by wearing thicker sleeved tops. However as the temperature keeps dropping it's become more of a problem and i'm now putting up with the neck "crick"'s again whilst i hunt for a warmer alternative. If your bedroom keeps a consistent temperature throughout the year I recommend this pillow highly. However if like me, your bedroom gets cooler during those winter months you might want to be a fare-weather water pillow user!
