This new battery fit my MacBook Pro 13" Mid-2009 perfectly. Install was very easy, as all you need to do is remove the screws of the bottom cover and remove battery and install new one. However, if you are reading this review, I'll save you a lot of hassle and frustration. Installing a new battery takes much more than just physically putting it in. You need to do 2 things after installing.1: You have to reset the SMC (System Management Controller). First, you need to shut down your Mac (unplug from power source as well), after the Mac is shut down, you need to press and hold the SHIFT+CONTROL+OPTION buttons, while keeping pressed, press and hold the power button and hold these four buttons for 10 seconds and then let go. After that, just press the power button to startup your Mac, this should set the SMC.2: After you reset the SMC, you will need to calibrate your new battery. Follow these steps: A: Charge your Mac all the way to 100% (until the light on the charger turns green). B: Once it's charged to 100%, continue to use your Mac for 2 HOURS. Make sure you're plugged in to the AC adapter. C: After 2 hours, unplug the Mac from the AC adapter, DON'T TURN IT OFF. Continue to use your Mac until the battery is completely drained. An easier way to do this, other than sitting there for hours, is to change your energy saving so that the computer and display never sleep. You can change this later. D: After the batter is completely depleted, leave the Mac, unplugged, for a minimum of 5 hours (longer is fine). After a period of 5+ hours, connect the AC adapter and charge your Mac to 100% and then use it like you normally would. This should be enough to calibrate your new battery.

I bought this December 30, so I could give my laptop to my mom, after hers died. Today is November 24 and I'm home for the holidays again. Just learned it died a few weeks ago. It won't turn on unless the power cord is connected. She's not a heavy user – only uses it 2-3 hours per day.UPDATE #1: Thanks for reading my review and sending a replacement, Lisen. I'll swap it out over the holidays and see how the new one performs. Until then, I've updated it to 4 stars.UPDATE #2: At mom's for the holiday and started to install the replacement battery, but this kit doesn't have a screwdriver for the Y-shaped screw heads that were used in mid-2010 Macbooks. Sloppy QA. Downgraded to 2 stars.UPDATE #3: Got the correct screwdrivers from Lisen, but now I can see that the replacement battery doesn't have a hole for the long right-hand screw. I've marked the picture where it should be and no light is coming through. I only have 1 screw (the short one on the left) holding the battery in place. Only added 1 star to the review, for 3 stars.

I assume the battery is ok, but obviously, time will tell. There were no detailed written instructions on how to install the battery into my notebook. I found a great YouTube segment that helped me a great deal and so far there are no problems. I did not give the product a 100% rating because only time will tell if everything is ok. Delivery was quick and the product arrived in great looking condition.

Hello Lisen Inc, I ordered this battery back in the middle of May and installed it into my wife's 13" Macbook Pro. It was working fine for a while but recently it started to lose charge really quickly. For example, it would jump from 25% down to 3% out of no where. Now, the battery doesn't work AT ALL. The computer starts up but the battery icon has a slash over it and whenever I click the drop down menu of the battery, it say's "replace battery". Please advise how we can fix this issue ASAP!Update 08-22-18: Lisen Inc. has provided a replacement and it seems to be working as intended now. The battery doesn't drop randomly as it did before. Maybe it was a defective battery. This replacement has my laptop up and running smoothly.

I like how easy it is to install the battery. Lisen’s customer service team is superb as they addressed all of my concerns and questions. The battery life is pretty good considering it is for a 2010 model but overall it is an excellent product!

The battery it self is great but just keep in mind it shows it comes with screwdrivers to get the job done they work for the most part but if you've never changed your MacBooks battery before it will be held in with Y0 screws and this screwdriver isn't included so for the most part they screwdrivers they give you are useless.

Update:The new battery is working great so far. Hoping I just got unlucky with the first one.Thanks Lisen!I bought a replacement battery back in February and it died 2.5 months later. Luckily I contacted the vendor and they sent me another battery right away.

In this case I Save $250. the battery was perfect, installation super simple and the battery works very nice. Really happy
