Naot sandals the Best
Just bought these so haven't worn them as it's winter here.....I now have ten pairs of Naot sandals and they never disappoint. They can be worn all day without feet getting tired or sore. The best!!!!

Great walking shoe
Wore these shoes during our trip to Europe - very comfortable from the very first day and stylish too. No blisters! Would highly recommend them.

Super comfortable, but tricky half sizing.
I have a high arch and am always at risk for foot pain, and I find Naot very comfortable! I do struggle with the sizing. I am a solid US size 8 1/12 and would also say a solid 39, but I have a Dorith style in 40 that I wore all of last summer happily. However, when I ordered that same style again in a different color, it was too long. So I tried this Sara in a 39 and think I'll keep. I probably could use just a bit more length, but not enough to order up. If these don't make me completely happy as I wear them, I might be finished with Naot. I guess I'm saying that 39 would be perfect for an eight, and 40 for a nine, but if you're in between, you might be out of luck.

Hope you have narrow feet
My feet are normally size 10B (medium width), but my right foot is wider than the left foot due to a bunion. Left foot felt tight, but not uncomfortable, right foot definitely felt tighter and rubbed against the bunion. Because the sandals are uber cute for orthopedic chic sandals, and I have 2 vacations to warm places coming up within the next two months, I've decided to wear the sandals and stretch them out. The right foot I wet the leather and am wearing them w/a sock so they may stretch. I'll also purchase shoe trees to store the shoes so they can continue stretching. I realize this may seem excessive, but I like them soooo much and really don't want to return them b/c in comparison to other sandals offered by ecco, clark's, etc., these sandals are not matronly and the sole does provide good support and comfort. If Birkenstock still made the Chania gladiator sandal in gold or brown leather that would be great alternative to this sandal, but alas they're out of production.

Fashion AND function!
Fabulous sandals! I bought them for a trip to Europe and they perfectly threaded the needle between fashion and functionality. I could wear them with a sundress and they looked cute (rather than clunky or orthopedic). But, they also held up against rough cobblestone, walking on dirt paths, and clambering down rocks to the seashore. Wore them for the first time after five days of walking (so my feet already hurt) and it felt like walking on clouds. Definitely worth it. I'm usually a true size 8 and the 39 fit perfectly; no need to break them in.

Happily Surprised
This is the first pair of non sneakers I have been able to wear in more years than I can count. I have fallen arches and a high instep. Shoes that support the arch usually cut my instep. These were perfect. No rub spots or blisters. Enough support to walk a large cruise ship, including stairs for an entire week with no pain or bloodshed!!! Another big plus is that they are cute and stylish. The don't have an old lady orthopedic look to them.

Look good, feel bad
Very pretty and very, very uncomfortable. My previous experiences with Naot sandals had been that they were outstandingly comfortable. I expected the same from these sandals, but they wound up being too painful to walk in. They're the right size, it's not that, it's just that they put undue pressure on sensitive spots like the toes: five minutes and I can't take another step! I bought them in November, which is way past sandal weather in Boston, so it wasn't until this spring that I actually tried wearing them (aside from trying them om when they first arrived.) So it's too late to return them, and they're too painful to wear. A total loss.

Good shoe for narrow feet in need of some support
Naot shoes seem to be a good match for my narrow foot, as the shoes are pretty narrow. I wear a US size 8 and went with the 39. It fits great, just a little long in the toe bed, but they seem to be made that way. I have plantar fasciitis, so I wanted something with a little more support than your average flat bottomed sandal. These have that support and don’t make my plantar fasciitis flare up. I like the velcro strap, it is convenient.

Comfortable, versatile sandals!
I had been eyeing these sandals for quite awhile and decided to bite the bullet. I love the way they fit and feel. I have flat feet and a history of plantar fascitis, so shoes with adequate support are a must. I like the deeper heel cup, as it keeps my foot aligned without overpronating, and the lightweight design keeps excess stress off my feet. I was also very pleased with how the inside of the ankle wrap is lined with soft, cushy material to avoid the inevitable raw leather rub. I walked nearly two miles the first time I wore these, and I did not end up with painful feet, ankles, knees, or blisters. Beautiful sandals that can be worn with everything from skirts and dresses to skinny jeans and shorts!

Felt a bit narrow at first then stretched well
Bought these to try to have a dress shoe that I can wear while suffering with plantar fasciitis. I actually tried several pairs of Naot, Earthie, and Taos sandals. Some were wider but did not give my foot the needed support. These sandals seemed a bit narrow at first but within a couple times wearing the top leather stretched out and now they feel perfect yet continue to give the area and heel the needed support. These shoes feel better and give my foot more support than the custom made orthopedic I got from podiatrist.

Not for wider feet!
Absolutely gorgeous sandal, but WAY too narrow for my somewhat wide feet. I bought the same pair in silver last year and wore them to death- they were supportive, comfortable, and great looking, but for some reason the gold pair is cut quite a bit more narrow than the silver and despite multiple wearings, they never stretched out or relaxed.

Get these!
I really like these shoes. I wore them a lot on a recent vacation and like that you can dress them up or down. They are very comfortable with no break in period. Great quality. I wear a size 4.5 in sandals and the 35 fit perfectly.

Sent two different sizes
The sandal is cute but it appears I was sent two different sizes. The left sandal felt bigger and while the heel says they are both 39, the bottom of the shoe says the left one is a 40. I'm disappointed that I'll have to return them. Definitely don't buy them online. Try to go to a store instead.
