Having bought one in walnut from this seller/maker in 2016, the screw fixing in the base to the upright post is different on this maple one and the overall finished quality close to being nigh-on the same. Because these have wider/thicker bases than other wooden kitchen towel holders, such allows the tearing off a single towel off with one hand a pretty easy manoeuvre. While a bit more costly than some others, it looks more classy and (to me) is worth the extra money. Had this maple one been finished exactly like as my walnut one it would have been a 5 star rating.
