Fantastic quality adapter

Purchased a couple of these for use with raspberry pi 5's, had no problems thus far after thorough testing during the last week or two, I have two USB extension ports and a couple of usb LED lit control decks attached utilising all four USB ports of the pi's, have utilised the ports for Usb pen drives and bluetooth dongles with no voltage issuesIt's a great power supply for your RPI 5, slight caveat for some of us cabinet users with regard to the cable length of 1.3m, but unfortunately pretty much every adapter is around that length, if a manufacturer can provide a 2m adapter that's compatible with the Pi 5's requirements i'd be the first to buy it.For everyone else this is sufficient and great quality.

A Mighty Power Supply for Raspberry Pi 5: Miuzei Delivers the Juice

Designed to cater specifically to the new Raspberry Pi 5, it sets itself apart with a high-performance charger capable of delivering a substantial 27W of power with a PD (Power Delivery) output of 5.1V/5A. This charger is not your run-of-the-mill USB power brick; it's a chunky fellow, both in adapter and cable girth. The reason behind its robust build is the unique requirement of pushing 5A over 5V, a specification that is tailor-made for the Raspberry Pi 5 and is quite a rarity in the charger market where a typical USB charger might only manage up to 3A at the same voltage. The beefy cable is a testament to this power supply's capability to handle the high amperage at low voltage, ensuring a stable and efficient power source for your Raspberry Pi projects. With a solid construction that feels premium, the Miuzei power supply is reassuringly rugged. The case plastic is tough and the finish is smooth, suggesting durability that can withstand the rigours of a maker's workshop. Attention to detail is evident in the sturdy live and neutral pins, which resist bending or warping with use. But it's not just about brawn; the charger also has the brains to negotiate and supply higher voltages when required, adding to its versatility. However, it's worth noting that if you're simply looking for a charger for your phone or laptop, the Miuzei's thick and less pliable cable might be an inconvenience. For such devices, a more conventional and flexible charger would be a better match. The conundrum arises when price comes into play. Hovering around the £15 mark, the Miuzei isn't bad value on its own. Yet when you place it side by side with the official Raspberry Pi power supply which boasts similar specs, the Miuzei's appeal starts to wane, given the official accessory's more compact form and often lower price point. So, why opt for the Miuzei? It boils down to personal preference and perhaps the availability of the official charger. For those who prize a sturdy build and don't mind a bit of extra bulk, the Miuzei is a perfectly suitable choice for powering a Raspberry Pi 5, ensuring your micro-computing projects stay juiced up and ready to go.

Works great!

Can't verify the rating on this, but it works great so far with a Pi 5 and feels decent quality. Didn't get too hot either, and the connector is sturdy, so really no complaints.

Provides great stable power

Provides stable power for my raspberry pi 5 8GB, it is built well with a strangely thick cable, but for the price it also provides you with a “fast charger” that can be used on other devices safely.

Great little power supply

The Raspberry Pi 5 has higher power requirements than earlier versions, so a power supply like this one is a good choice. This one's a bit larger than the official one, with a decently thick cable to carry all that extra power. The PSU works fine with both of my Pi 5s, powering the mouse and keyboard, along with an external 2.5" hard drive, without any issues or the warning messages that can sometimes appear with PSUs of lesser specification. Recommended if you need a power supply for your Pi 5

Heavy duty

This is a chunky boy. Both the adapter and the cable are bigger than your typical USB charger because this is pushing 5A over 5V which is specific to the new Raspberry Pi 5 and quite unheard of until now.A typical charger will only go up to 3A at 5VLike most chargers it will also negotiate and supply higher voltagees as well, but the high amperage at such low voltage makes this charger specifically designed for the Raspberry Pi5 and is the reason for the extra thick wire.If you just need a phone or laptop charger then this will work, but the thick cable makes it a bit inconvenient and you would be better off using a different charger with a more common and thinner/more flexible cable. For the Raspberry Pi 5 this is perfect.

A good PD supply that has many uses, including Pi, Tablet, phone etc.

Miuzei Raspberry Pi 5 Power Supply, 27W 5.1V 5A PD Power Adapter USB-C ChargerThis power supply looks well built and has a good quality cable which should avoid any voltage drop. It has the same output specifications as the original Pi5PSU.Like the Pi5 PSU, this PSU has Power Delivery which means that it is suitable for various devices as well as the Pi5 as long as it meets their maximum power requirements. The PSU worked well when I tried it in my Pi5, with no problems. I also tried it in a Pi4 with the same results. As expected, it also worked OK (via a USB-C to micro USB-A adapter) with Pi Picos. This is handy where you want a bit extra 'oomph' than the standard 3A Pi PSU. I use this to power a USB hub that I have three Pimoroni Skullys connected to.
