I will admit I am not a tech guru, but I can always figure something out. This Wi-Fi extender is amazing. It really works and my internet dropping in and out on my brand-new desktop computer has gone away. It took less then 15 minutes to get the Wi-Fi extender up and running. Just plug it in, push the button and then go to your smart phone and follow the instructions. The only thing to do was then change the network connection on my desktop from the original router signal to the Wi-Fi extender signal and use the same password as the router.

The device came in a box without plastic wrap, and looked like a returned product. I thought if it is good, I don’t mind using a returned product. Following the poorly written procedure, I tried multiple times, never could connect to internet, though the two extended channels showed up. Never could connect to the device IP for setup. After several factory resets, I concluded this must be a defective device and returned.

Easy set up with clear instructions. It’s the first time I tried a WiFi extender and it has been working well and extending the wifi signal for the entire time. Also super small and tidy so I don’t need to find a place to put it. Definitely recommended!

This extender/repeater wouldn’t work wirelessly. If I hooked an Ethernet cord to it directly, it worked great. Wireless was a different story, wanted me to go into my router settings. Not going to do that. I had bought a similar one prior to this one for my father. Set up was easy, so I thought that I would get a little nicer one. Returned this one and went with the original I bought.

For such a small thing, it indeed has a lot of capabilities. You can use it as a WiFi extender or use it as a standard router. We use it in our garage because that is too far away from our router. We do notice that when connecting through this WiFi extender, the connection quality varies. But I guess one reason is that this extender is too far away from our standard router. It's too far away, that the 5Ghz network is not reachable from there. So I guess compared to not having any quality connection at all, this is still a huge improvement. Despite occasional instability, we can still browse the internet and watch videos, albeit with occasional buffering.

Worked for about three minutes. I tried resetting the device numerous times, but although it would easily connect to my laptop, I could not get it to again connect to the router.

I bought this on a whim. I was looking to get a Mesh Wifi system but decided to try this first. Have been very satisfied with this so far! Highly reccomended if you're looking to extend your Wifi into another location. In my instance my router was too far to have my cameras working in the garage. So glad I got this item to have my cameras work better.
