Brief but brilliant
This novella packs so much in, it has pitch black humour and a chilling concept! An absolutely fantastic read for fans of thriller/horror fiction.

Entertaining!
This short book is really well written and kept me turning the pages into the wee hours. Bob is an interesting bad guy, as bad guys go, and I love the humour which breaks up the tension. A clever novella, which I would have given five stars had the ending been different. Without giving it away, the ending was somewhat disappointing and unrealistic, given how good the story was up to that point. Still very worthwhile reading.

Superbly chilling
I have been a fan of Zoe and her work for a little while now. I read the synopsis of 'Courier' and it certainly sounded like the kind of twisted psychological thriller that I particularly enjoy. I couldn't wait to get started and so without further ado, I grabbed my Kindle, grabbed a cup of tea and settled down for an interesting couple of hours of reading. Having finished reading 'Courier' and enjoying it as much as I did, all I can say is 'wow'. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Courier' but more about that in a bit.I have to admit that I wasn't a fan of the character of Bob, who is the courier mentioned in the title. I found his name to be a little distracting since Bob was also the name of my late Dad, who thankfully wasn't creepy at all and nothing like the 'Bob' in this book. There was something about the 'courier' that set off rather loud alarm bells for me. You would certainly want to keep him in view at all times and have an escape route handy in case of an emergency. It didn't take me long at all to get into the story. In fact the first page was enough to grab my attention and draw me into the story. From then on, I literally couldn't stop reading. It was as if the book had developed a hold over me and it was a hold that I wasn't willing to break. My Kindle wasn't exactly glued to my hand but it might as well have been because it travelled everywhere with me. I couldn't bear to miss a single second of the story. I was so wrapped up in the story that I lost all track of time and just how quickly I was getting through the book. As 'Courier' is a novella, it didn't take me long at all to get to the end of the 'Courier'. I found 'Courier' to be a gripping, tense and dramatic read, which certainly kept me guessing and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.'Courier' is superbly written and then some. The author certainly knows how to grab the reader's attention and draw them into what proves to be one heck of a story and then some. Zoe describes the characters so vividly and realistically that they seemed just as real as you and I. A certain character really did give me the creeps and sent a shiver down my spine. Reading 'Courier' felt like being on an at times scary and unpredictable rollercoaster ride with several twists and turns. I felt as though I was part of the story. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Courier' and I would certainly recommend this to other readers. I will certainly be reading more of Zoe's work in the future. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Creepily good
It’s not gruesome like the cover might suggest but it is dark and nothing short of a delicious, short and entertaining read. I loved Zoe’s writing style, it’s strong, well paced and engaging. Bob the courier is just a brilliant character, a creepy weirdo who becomes infatuated with a married woman who he delivers parcels to. I didn’t see the twist at the end coming at all. If you’re looking for a thrilling short novella, this is for you!

Short, Sharp, Sassy Thriller!
I've thoroughly enjoyed Zoe Rosi's thrillers so far, and Courier was no different, but unique in its way.Bob is a courier who becomes infatuated with the haunted-looking face of a woman in a house where he makes deliveries. His infatuation leads him to become much more involved in her life than he should, as he begins to dream of a future and becoming her saviour. Something quite easy for a faceless delivery man who no one takes notice of.Courier is a novella written in the first person, filled with twists and turns that keep a reader involved in the story from beginning to end. I have to say I felt quite sorry for Bob and his life, though I wouldn't recommend the route he decides to take!A well-written story about stalking and obsession and consequences.I will definitely be paying more attention to our couriers in the future, that's for sure! Many thanks to NetGalley and Lighthouse Press for an ARC.

creepy thriller
Read right through this is one sitting. It puts you into the man's head as he talks to his target, or what he'd want to say, and steadily goes from seeming almost reasonable to someone to fear.

Shocking, dark and creepy
A new author to me and after hearing good things about it on a FB book group, I thought it was worth a punt and it certainly was! It's told exclusively from the POV of the main character Bob who is a courier and becomes convinced that one of his regular female customers is in an abusive relationship. However rather than notify the authorities, he becomes infatuated by her and attempts to take matters into his own hands. Although it's only a novella, it's creepy, disturbing and shocking and while Bob is initially likeable, his actions soon make him into completely the opposite. Overall a cracking short story which takes a normal everyday situation into something far more sinister and I'll look forward to reading more from this author.

Delightfully wicked- just a really fun ride with a deep and powerful twist
Zoe Rosi is very powerful with words. Her imagery is sparkling, her characters naked and laid bare. I love how she gets into a character's head and brings the reader along. The Courier is a first-person look into psychosis and psychopathy, but also real pain and loneliness. You almost sympathize with him, then you're' not sure, then you just want to see how it all ends. It's an amazingly fast read and a real page-turner. I devoured it. Also, her descriptions of the south coast of England and the damp, salty seaside towns are vivid and rich.
